“I did 6 months of personal training here while rehabbing my hip after surgery. My insurance decided that I was healed enough after a few months of PT, but I still wasn't back to playing hockey and distance running. Shannon specializes in this area and helped me get back to these activities. She took the time to sit down and talk through my situation, do a thorough evaluation, and then create a workout plan that met all my needs. I went twice a week for 6 months and I felt stronger and more stable within just a few weeks. I am now back to playing hockey 2-3 times a week and running half marathons and I can credit Shannon and Kristen for helping me get back to these activities. I have also gotten a couple massages from Shannon that really helped loosen tight areas and relieve pain and tension. My only negative is the price tag, but this is also my first experience with personal training so I have nothing to compare it to. Also, you get what you pay for. I would recommend Function-N-Fitness to anyone looking for talented personal trainers or a sports massage, especially if you are rehabbing an injury and don't know how to get back to full activity.“
“Dr. John is an all around stand-up guy. First doctor in any field I’ve come across that truly cares. From the meticulous ways he chooses his staff, to going out of his way to make you truly understand whats going on, he truly goes above the call of duty. I have tried a few others in the past but they were all the same: wack and crack pay me, but not Dr. J.
