After experiencing limited and temporary success with taking my 82 year old mother, who has scoliosis and limited mobility due to several TIAs, to different back specialists for pain treatment and management solutions, my sister and I were at our wit’s end. It’s been a great experience! I feel like my body is finally recovering after postpartum. It also helps alleviate all the pain I’ve been feeling with bending over and body strain that goes with picking up a 30 pound toddler every two seconds.
Dr. Miok is such a wealth of knowledge and a very intentional and gentle chiropractor! I started seeing her early in my second trimester of pregnancy for pain throughout my spine and after just a few visits I had almost complete relief. I’ve been seeing her consistently throughout the rest of my pregnancy and it has made a world of difference — I feel amazing and baby is doing great. Could not recommend Dr. Miok more highly! I am a huge supporter of chiropractic care throughout pregnancy and beyond!
