I called another local company and they could not schedule a technician until the next week. I then called Kim with S.M.L. who offered to drive to Lynchburg to get the part (which was in stock). Daniel was here within two hours to repair our unit. My family is so thankful for their wonderful, caring service!“

“Thank You! Jason and crew!(Long)After 2-1/2 months with no heat… Lost heat the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, called a company we had been using for a couple of years. They came out and said we needed a new furnace (we have geothermal which scares most HVAC people) to the tune of $20,000. We said okay, not knowing and trusting the company. A couple of weeks later a new furnace arrived — turns out wrong furnace and missing the heating components from the factory. Three to four weeks later and 13 phone calls nothing happened. Company said they could not get TRANE to call them back. We gave up! Called Johnston Cooling and Heating, they came out the next day. They said all that needed to be replaced was the compressor and we would have a “new” furnace. One week later the house had heat! Thanks again to Johnston, Jason and crew… definitely a six star rating. Guess who we will be using next time!“
