My son's car broke down and AAA referred this company to him. The tow truck operator was extremely confused as to where they were located despite being given the google map coordinates. After finally picking up the vehicle, he called my son and told him he needed $15. He gave my son a third party's phone number and said to call them and give them his credit card. He failed to give my son any further details as to what the charge was for and the call ended. My son was reluctant to give a stranger his cc info over the phone so he did not do so especially sice the car was only being towed 1.8 miles and there should be no charge. Very disappointed. State requires tow companies to take credit cards that are nationally recognized. They illegally towed my vehicle, charged $851 to get back after less than a day and would not take credit so we could sort out in court. Hope to get their licenses revoked.
This company is overcharging 'some people' for towing services. They overcharge my black niece 350.00 for a tow. She didn't authorize it. The store her car was towed from allowed it to remain there until she fixed her tire. They towed it anyway from Richmond, Va to Hanover, Va. This seems to be an extra mountable expense for a tow.
