“I needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. “My cat Dolly had a cold that quickly grew into something more sinister - one morning, she was struggling to breathe and had bloody mucus coming out of her nose. Like any other grown up adult, I had a full on meltdown and called her normal vet sobbing because I was terrified she was dying.

Now I have a full on care plan with a local office (rhymes with Wanfield), and you’d think that paying a monthly fee for ongoing care of your precious baby angel would mean that…you get ongoing care for your precious baby angel. But, they were fully booked for the next few days - could I bring her in later that week? (Surely they misunderstood me. You see, she was struggling to breathe. This was an emergency…right?) But I was not confused - in fact, there are no appts for emergencies available. Ever. (Lesson learned lol)

So I called a few other local pet ERs and they were all on a several hour wait. (Remember, my cat can’t breathe. She is bleeding.)

Thank the dear Lord in heaven that I remembered this place opened up nearby. They took her immediately, and the entire staff was so kind and caring. (And very generously ignored the fact I had been crying for hours and looked like a swollen mess) They quickly figured out what was going on, got her on oxygen, and were so sweet and gentle with her that it totally erased all of my fears. They even gave her an hour or so in an oxygen tank free of charge while we waited for the test results.

The other thing I appreciated so much was the kindness about what treatments may or may not work. The hard thing about being a pet owner is having to essentially put a price on your animal’s life. Is it worth spending a few thousand dollars on something that may not even work? I really was so touched by the honesty and understanding the Doctor showed in weighing the options, and the way he gave his own opinions as a pet lover versus a vet.

Dolly is still recovering from her bout of pneumonia- but hopefully she gets better soon!“

“Update 2024: the price has increased crazily, like a fecal test or a wellness visit took me $90+ a few months ago and just a few months later it's $103 or $105. The staff are not as friendly as before especially for today's visit. It's such a disappointment given that we insisted on using CAH for both of my lovely cats even after we moved out of this area, which takes us 30mins+ drive from our new place), but now I think it's time to change.
Note: I hope all my appointments can be taken by Dr Tohill who I think is the best.“

“Dr Mitchell and her team are just fabulous! She came highly recommended by my friends and colleagues, many who have been with her since she opened Animal Medical Center. WE got test results in under 24 hours and were able to schedule a necessary ultrasound (recommended by previous vet; didn't want to take him to VCA) within a weeks time.

“Sulleys is a 5 star go to ! I drive 1hr and 10 minutes to get there and it's worth it. My dog had surgery and couldn't do stairs as I have 15 outside my door no elevator it's a old building. Jess is a angel she took care of my dog Noka and supplied darling pictures everyday. Took my stress away. All meds were explained to me and even called to check on my fur child!
