Game Changing Massage! After spending an hour with expert masseuse Ginger, I realize massages shouldn’t just be saved for special occasions. We need to incorporate them into our weekly routines. I had 5 huge knots in my back. But I didn’t even realize I had accumulated that much stress. I love this spa! It’s spotlessly clean. I went in there feeling like a senior citizen and left feeling like a teenager.

My son had gone for massages at Massage Associates with Glenn for a while and had raved about it so when there was a groupon I jumped on it. Then I waited a long time to use it. I'm overweight, I had never had a massage from a man...I had a lot of excuses but I just wasn't sure I would be comfortable. I finally had to use the groupon so I went. All I can say is that Glenn Low is just great. I immediately felt completely at ease and relaxed. The facility is in an office park in Herndon, easy to get to, easy parking, very clean. This is not the candles and incense massage, this is medical massage. Glenn spent a lot of time with me and I never felt he was rushed. He asked a lot about my history and what I needed. Glenn has the nicest, calmest demeanor. He just felt like a friend that I could trust immediately. I have a bad back and neck. Kinks and knots, trouble sleeping and headaches from the tight neck and shoulders. Glenn spent over an hour working on my back. shoulders and neck. Honestly, there were times it was kind of painful. He found every knot and kink, and would dig in! I thought for sure I was going to be sore for days. Just the opposite! I had forgotten how it felt not to have tight muscles. I felt great afterwards! There was no soreness at all the next day. I slept like a little baby. I plan on going back for regular massage with Glenn. I was the queen of taking Nuprin, but I haven't had a headache since that massage. A miracle for me! Like someone else said, this is not the vacation massage. This is medical massage and it had a real impact for me. If you are suffering with a tight neck, shoulders and back I would really recommend that you try Glenn. I think he also does massage in Alexandria.

My wife had our boys give me a certificate for a medical massage here... for fathers' day. You can see that I didn't rush right over. I have some major spine issues, including previous surgeries, and am a little overprotective of my poor old back. I decided my aches couldn't wait any longer and to have a massage late in the day. The offices are small but seem adequate to the use. After a form and some chat I was quickly examined and a course of action set. For the next hour I was pinched, pushed, kneaded and rolled in all the right places. The conversation was good, the approach was very real and easy-going and the results - now that I'm three days post-massage... are great. I was wondering how long this intense (but not terribly painful) workout would last... and I have to say that it's doing pretty well. I expect soreness the day after a good massage in the places that get the most work... but honestly had very little. Mostly I've felt a decrease in my daily pains and a bit more limber as well. I can highly recommend the massage here - and the options on the menu are varied and reasonably priced. Don't put it off.
