It's not the frames that makes this experience such a positive visit to James River Eye, but the exam was very thorough and the fact that while wearing my glasses, I can't tell I have bifocals!!! Thank you!!!

I do not understand why they have a low overall rating. I have been coming here for years and very single time I visit for an appointment, everyone is nice, caring, and understanding! I am seen quickly and Dr. McGarry is always thorough and nice. He may be quick with his procedures and visit with you, but I suspect that he has a lot of patients to attend to. Everything goes smoothly when I am there and I am never pressured with anything I don't want to do or with what I can afford. The office is always clean and tidy as well. I definitely recommend this doctor and office!
