This was my first time getting a haircut at Dapper Devil Dog and Mike did an incredible job for me. I don’t get my hair cut very often because I’ve normally had negative experiences with other barbers in the past, but this is the first time in a long time where I left thinking “This is exactly what I wanted”. Definitely the best haircut I’ve had (my girlfriend agrees). Plus he's in Haymarket, so it was close by and convenient, but I'd drive an hour away if I had to for this good of an experience.
Mike is very personable and his attention to detail is something I’ve never seen in any barbershop before. After my haircut, Mike literally took notes about what I need the next time I come in. Where else can you get that?
It was an overall enjoyable experience in a super clean environment, and you can tell that Mike is a master in his craft and genuinely cares about giving his customers a good experience.

Transform Power Yoga is a beautiful community with incredibly kind and helpful teachers. I always feel welcome and happy to be there. I love the chance to be in my peaceful space on my mat. I just recently realized that the whole class can be a meditation for me. I feel like I am always growing, but never pushed. I have always loved yoga, but I have never practiced as consistently as I do now. I enjoy the heated space, the flow of movement, the insightful commentary, and the cold wash cloth at the end of each class. I participated in one of their retreats to Casa Om and their 40 Day Revolution. In both experiences, I loved the kind guidance of the instructors, meaningful conversations and reflection, and overall experience of being in the yoga environment. I highly recommend Transform to anyone looking for a warm and inviting yoga studio.
Dr. Gillespie and his staff were wonderful in taking care of our baby (Toby-cat). I was not going back if the prior DVM was still there. It was wonderful working with the new medical director. Everyone was kind, efficient and competent. They are a fantastic local veterinary service.

Outstanding work by Chuck to run some wiring from one end of our finished basement to to the other. He managed to use existing recessed lights for access into the ceiling and had to cut far fewer holes than we were prepared for. Other contractors almost certainly would have cut more holes to make their job easier. Thank you for the high quality work!

I initially hired McNabb to install a new roof and within a day, Shaun came to the project site for a walkthrough and I had an estimate in hand. Everything went seamlessly -- they showed up on time, finished the project with no deviation from the estimate, and left the jobsite immaculately clean. Because I had such a good experience with them, I hired them a second time for new siding. Again, the project went perfectly. They are excellent with communication, always keeping you up to date as materials are ordered, delivered, etc.
It's refreshing to know that there are still great local companies out there who care about the little things like communication and friendliness. Without a doubt, if I have a project for them, I'd hire McNabb again without hesitation.

We had a great experience with Chris and his team. They tore down our old deck, built a new one, and built a patio with a sitting wall. Chris is super easy to work with and gave us multiple design options to choose from. When we had a question about water drainage after the project was completed, Chris and his crew came out and took care of it promptly. Chris is my first phone call for any landscaping / hardscaping needs.

Billy Roberts and his crew were fantastic. They did an absolute great job on my stoop and walk. I have had 3 or 4 neighbors stop by and asked who did the job. I gave the neighbors contact numbers for CAI Concrete and hope that they contacted them. I had a little issue with the sealing of the concrete, but when I called Billy, he immediately showed up and make the necessary corrections. First timer and met my expectations.
I requested a High Fade cut w/ no trim to the top and my barber (I forget her name, sorry!) and she did just that. She also did a complimentary razor trim to my edges and that came out good too.
The prices overall (Men, Women, Kids, Seniors, First responders) are VERY reasonable given the area the shop is in.
Overall, I will definitely be returning to get my cut here. :D

Expert Cleaners in Haymarket, VA is a great place to get all your drycleaning and alteration requirements done. I'm very happy a colleague (barber) recommended it to me a couple of years agoThe only issue thats stopping me from giving this establishment a "Five-Star Rating " is the cost/price of its services. Check it out for yourself because everyone has their own personal opinions concerning value.

I highly recommend this place! I take my pup there for daycare and grooming. They take very good care of her and she comes out of grooming smelling and looking beautiful! They always ask my preference for her cut when I drop her off and always accommodate any specific requests. The daycare was great too because my pup has only been socialized with two other dogs in our family so I wanted to socialize her more because she’s not interested in other dogs as much. And they always give me an update when I pick her up. She’s more of a people dog so she tends to want to be with the dog attendant. I even spoke with the owner, Andrea, about how she doesn’t like playing with other dogs and inquired if she thought she would be ok with boarding when I need to for vacation and Andrea recommended not boarding her or doing a private room if we needed to. Every dog is different and they recognize that. I really appreciate a business that cares the utmost about the individual client rather than just persuading me to board her! I will definitely keep bringing my pup for grooming and some daycare to see if she comes around! I know she’s taken care of when I drop her off! So if you want an honest and transparent place for your pup where the staff and ownership truly care for them and you, then definitely try A Pup’s Valley!!
I’ve been coming to this salon for a little over a year. I’m extremely picky about my hair and these ladies deliver!! Their work is consistently good every time. The staff are all so kind too. Haymarket is lucky to have a place like this. It’s up to date on current styles and has the talent to match your needs and price point. The biggest plus here is the education. Ash puts her heart and soul into her employees and it shows!

Azia really takes her time and pays a lot of atrention to detail as well as trys the best techniques for my particular nails. Azia is creative, hard working and very personable. So thankful I found her!

Johnson roofing installed a brand new roof on our townhouse and installed new soffett and wrapped the trim boards in aluminum in the rear of our home. The roof replacement was through our insurance and Steve worked with our insurance to make sure they understood what needed to be done to meet local code and get us taken care of properly. His prices are very good compared to some of the larger companies in the area and if you need to call him you reach him directly and not someone working in an office. The quality of the work is top notch. I highly recommend Johnson Roofing.
