Pearce's information at a dining table in the Courthouse Restaurant in Gloucester.Mr. Pearce actually looked at my property a year before I was ready for the work to be done, and would consistently get back to me, even if he or I were out of town at the time.When it came time, I had two bedrooms with closets, a hallway, and a bathroom drywalled and painted (plus trim in all and tile over the tub I had set myself in the bathroom) for a fair price, even including the fact that he managed to upsell me on updating the electrical in all three rooms.Thad, Jason, Eric, and Brian worked on my job- with the exception of a couple days when one of them had a family emergency. All four were very professional and did solid work. They weren't all there every day, as Mr. Pearce had other jobs going on simultaneously and needed hands elsewhere, but I never had a day that I didn't see progress if they were there. Thad did an outstanding job on the electrical update and Jason's tile installation came out beautifully.When all was said and done, the upstairs of my house looks like new apartment (minus the flooring, which I hadn't contracted them for).I plan on bringing them back in when I get done with the rip-out in the downstairs bathroom, and have already recommended them to someone I know from Norfolk who just moved up to Hayes.Solid work.Services: Tile work installation“

“Very pleased with the detailed work on multiple painting projects in my home. Very careful work done by all employees and looks beautiful. Work included a stairwell (with a LOT of spindles) dining room, foyer, half bath, and cabinets, as well as removal of very stubborn wallpaper and a giant wall mirror. Paint in multiple areas was a very saturated color (deep red brown and black) and all look great. Price was reasonable (the middle bid among 3 bids obtained) and work was done without additional cost. Employees were polite and friendly and cleaned up very well when work was completed. Would recommend!“

“We started in March 2022 with Mitchell Homes and Finished in July 2023. I helped build a home on 5 acres and it took 6 weeks to build. this was in Isle of wight County. It took 18 months to build in Surry County. The Covid, bad contractors, County people were unable to find qualified employees and silly mistakes from the County caused us to find a place to live while waiting for our house to be built. I do not blame Mitchell Homes because they were unhappy as well. We have been in our new home for a year now and we are very pleased with everything. Finding good contractors now days is a hard job in its self and I appreciate that Mitchell was able to complete this house even though they suffered through all this. Thanks Gary“
