Not sure why it has taken me this long to write this review, since we luckily found Shady Grove Animal Clinic 12 years ago. Dr. Lucas is our main vet here, and he is very knowledgeable, patient and caring. Since we have 2 dogs with multiple medical issues, we have been cared for by every vet at the facility and they are all terrific. The entire staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. But if you don’t believe me, ask our dog who never wants to leave this place and can’t wait to visit again!
Just moved to the state from Arizona, my poor dog came with bad allergies to begin with. Not even within the first 30 minutes we had his whole history and a treatment plan looked over and analyzed thoroughly! I feel comfortable with the team there and it shows they really do care for the well being of their patients. Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at a different vet and my dog suffered due to their inability to stock needed medications and topicals that my dog does need on a daily, I will leave the name out but they didn’t seem to want to help me treat my dog’s symptoms at all. Dr Lucas is the best! Love this practice. All compassionate, caring and supportive folks. The front desk folks are so pleasant as are the techs. Could not be happier with this group!
