Spicewood is wonderful! Our dog always has a good time boarded here and she is 100% well taken care of. Gina and her team are fantastic, and we love being able to send our little spicy heeler here!

Our sweet Allie "vacationed” at Spicewood for 12 years. She considered Gina her grandma, and Gina's little dog Betty was her best friend. Brenda and the other staff are superb!The dignity, care and humaneness with which Gina treats her boarders serves as magnificent tutorial for how any nursing home should treat theirs. I wish I could give ten stars... and the moon!

I love Spicewood Kennels! They generally breed and train mastiffs, a large and strong type of dog. So they really know their stuff when it comes to gently but firmly handling dogs! I saw a small part of a training session one time from the side and was really impressed. They have extra space to board other people's dogs and do so for a very reasonable price. My dog is always calm and happy when I come back to get her. She's not all stressed out or hoarse from over-barking like she gets at other places.
