“Aegis is one of the finest companies I have had the privilege to deal with - two years ago I had several shingles that the wind was lifting up - with a storm on the way I called Aegis and they were there within 2 hours and glued them down - unbelievable!! Yesterday we had 40 mph winds that blew a piece of facia half off and left it flapping and banging against the roof and house - again I called Aegis at 4pm and they were at my house by 1pm the next day to secure it back in place - I asked for an estimate to replace all of it with new using screws - Donald suggested to just secure the existing with screws in the spring - when I asked how much I owed them for today - they said Nothing!!“

“I used a highly rated company (C1) found on Yelp in the spring to turn on my boiler. They couldn't. They told me that I had to have the gas company to turn the gas on. They also charged me for cleaning. When the heating season came, I had the gas turned on, I called C1 again to get my boiler turned on. They still couldn't bug quitedc me to replace both valves for $4k or get a new boiler for $8500. OHA was the second company came to give me a diagnostic. Mr Bryan discovered that the water pipes were completely empty and found a spot on the radiator where the pipes were disconnected. No wonder the boiler won't turn on! However, OHA doesn't repair radiator pipes so he left me this valuable information without charging me a penny! I found a 3rd company came to repair the valves and saved thousands from the 1st company. Forever thankful for Mr Bryan!“

“We had siding installed on our house last month. Elias and his crew did an excellent job replacing cedar siding with Hardie Plank. They showed up early each day and stayed each day until 5:30 or 6:00 pm. They are true craftsman and were most concerned about making sure the installation was correct and proud of the work they do and it showed. They also determined that one of our walls was completely rotted underneath our deck and made sure that the issue was resolved by adding additional support to the structure and new plywood put in place before adding the new siding. We will be using Ray’s over the coming years for other things we need. It can be difficult to find good companies these days and Ray’s Siding is one of the good ones!“

“I have needed a shed roof for about a year. I had contacted other roof companies with little to no luck. I received a flyer in the mail and contacted Roofworks of Virginia and spoke to Mary near closing time. She provided good information and was very pleasant and courteous. The next day I received a call from Vincent who scheduled an estimate for Thursday May 9, 2024. He phone on Wednesday May 8 and was in the area and could stop by if I was available. (I'm used to getting calls to reschedule for a later date... Not an earlier one) He provided a very reasonable and detailed estimate and i agreed to the job. The next day TJ contacted me and informed me his crew is available Tuesday May 14. Two workers, Eduardo and Elias arrived as scheduled and began working immediately. They did a great job from start to finish and even trimmed some tree limbs that were hanging over the shed. They informed me as well as showed me some plywood that did not need to be replaced and allowed me to decide. The next day Vincent phoned and provided me a updated price for the job which reflected cost savings for not replacing all of the plywood. Very impressive. Some businesses might not be so upfront.
