Some may ask why I am sharing but this is a true testament to the program and why I am so grateful we found Mt. Kim. Again thank you instructor Olivia and Instructor Caleb and we will see you this week. I pulled my son from class this morning. Felt it was a teachable moment about DISCIPLINE/ACCOUNTABILITY. He forgot his belt at home and didn't want to be a "no belt" as he called it. I was going to run home and just grab it while he started but than I had to ask twice to get his shoes off and on the mat. His attitude this morning was stinky and he needed to learn someone isn't always going to save him when he forgets. I left to go get the belt and when I looked in I could see him pouting sitting down on the wall. I circled back and parked and got him and apologized that he would not be attending class today. He understands now about Privledges and rights. I want to thank everyone at route three that has helped Elway. It didn't take but an hour for him to apologize on his own and will be apologizing for disappointing his instructors next visit in class. This place is amazing and I appreciate all the hard work and role models that my son has to look up too.
