I’m always nervous about having my gray hair colored so I started with a consultation appointment after reading her positive reviews. Annazette was professional, friendly and listened to my concerns and desires. She was knowledgeable about styling techniques and products so I scheduled with her. Annazette did a beautiful job! I wanted highlights for visual interest and dimension and I was pleased with the results. She is very professional and offers excellent, excellent customer service. The salon has a nice atmosphere, welcoming and comfortable and I plan to schedule with Annazette again.“

“this review is loooong overdue. last year, the salon manager at ulta purposely butchered my hair (she was my coworker, also never get your hair cut there period) and gave me a hair shaft disorder at the same time my water stopped being useable from calcium.
i came in with ratty, sticky, tangled, calcified hair and and tracy stepped in and became my literal angel this whole entire year. no one would look at my hair besides tracy, "it's just curly", "youre just crazy", and even if at points if she didnt fully believe what i said, shes never made me feel stupid or crazy.
i live 2 minutes from the town and country location and drive here every time instead for tracey or the other stylists. even just because my social anxiety is so bad and the other location tends to not be as nice. all the girls are great but i see tracy only generally. she is the sweetest, most friendly person to anyone she meets, shes hilarious, and she will never make you feel bad about yourself, in addition to obviously being very skilled and smart.
tracy picked up quickly methods of how to take care of my tangled scalp hair and which products to avoid/use and always takes the time to comb my hair as us curly girls have to. and if youre worried about a curly cut from someone w/straight hair like a lot of curly girls, dont fear because tracys done my hair the best anyone has. she should get paid a lot more than she does and i wish i was rich not poor so i could tip her the big amounts she deserves. she puts up with so much crap with my messed up hair and leaves specific notes for other stylists when she can't do my hair so it doesnt tangle more.
i cannot express in any way how grateful i am tracy exists and puts up with me and my crazy hair, especially for so long. thank you so much tracy and all the girls for taking me in and trying to help in any way they can.“

“I LOVE this salon and if I could give Jacky's Shop 10 stars I would! I had been to almost every braiding shop in the Fredericksburg area and Jacky is hands down the BEST braider in the area!! Her work is UNMATCHED! She's fast, always accommodating, always on time, and has the softest, lightest touch! You have no idea how many times I've fallen asleep as she's braiding my hair- something that I have NEVER been able to do at any other braidshops. I haven't stepped foot in another shop since I found her even after moving to Richmond ( I still make the drive to get my hair done). It doesn't matter if I get braids, twists, cornrows- the results are always AMAZING and my hair has never been healthier! “I love coming to Ellen's. I live on Lake Anna so it takes me about 50 minutes to get there. I'm a Medically Retired Female Disabled Army Veteran. I'm a morning person so I always schedule my appointments for as soon as they open, which is 10am. So my appointments are always scheduled for 10am. I normally arrive by 9:30 am, go into the beauty supply store and purchase my hair and other supplies I need, also the beauty supply store ⁵gives military discounts. By 9:50 I'm in the chair with a cape over me getting my hair combed and led to the shampoo bowl, By 11:45 I'm in my car headed back home to Lake Anna. I will continue to cone to Ellen's because I always leave very satisfied“
