Altered Components LLC

Heard about Altered Components through a local FB group and decided to bring my car here for general maintenance. I’ll just say that every other German/European shop couldn’t take me in on short notice and Josh was more than happy to take care of my vehicle on a Saturday while he was dealing with other clients and vehicles. We talked for a good 30 minutes after and I know that his knowledge of the brand is top tier had me questioning what I really know of the brand haha. Looking forward to getting more things done in the near future at Altered Components.

I recently had extensive maintenance and performance upgrades done at Altered Components , and I couldn't be happier with the results. The team, though small with just two men, is meticulous in their work. The owner, Josh, communicated effectively throughout the entire process, making sure I was informed every step of the way.

Josh's honesty and deep knowledge of Audi/VW vehicles really stood out. The pricing was very fair, and the quality of work was outstanding. Despite having to drive over an hour to get there, I am more than willing to make the trip again in the future. They have definitely earned a lifetime customer in me. This has been long over due but really just wanted to give Altered Components a well deserved review. Many shops have been reluctant to take on some of the challenges that come with a modified Porsche Cayenne turbo on a 5 inch lift built to overland. However, the guys at Altered components were more than willing to take a look at my vehicle and perform the work. I had gotten my CV axle, upper control arm ball joints replaced and a few months ago an oil change.Josh is great in answering questions and has a wealth of knowledge with cars, especially VWs.
