I love coming to Ellen's. I live on Lake Anna so it takes me about 50 minutes to get there. I'm a Medically Retired Female Disabled Army Veteran. I'm a morning person so I always schedule my appointments for as soon as they open, which is 10am. So my appointments are always scheduled for 10am. I normally arrive by 9:30 am, go into the beauty supply store and purchase my hair and other supplies I need, also the beauty supply store ⁵gives military discounts. By 9:50 I'm in the chair with a cape over me getting my hair combed and led to the shampoo bowl, By 11:45 I'm in my car headed back home to Lake Anna. I will continue to cone to Ellen's because I always leave very satisfied

I’m always nervous about having my gray hair colored so I started with a consultation appointment after reading her positive reviews. Annazette was professional, friendly and listened to my concerns and desires. She was knowledgeable about styling techniques and products so I scheduled with her. Annazette did a beautiful job! I wanted highlights for visual interest and dimension and I was pleased with the results. She is very professional and offers excellent, excellent customer service. The salon has a nice atmosphere, welcoming and comfortable and I plan to schedule with Annazette again.
Tiffany did an absolutely AMAZING job on my hair! My hair that I’ve been hating for MONTHS and have tried to get fixed multiple times, but to no avail. Tiffany fixed it first try, and FLAWLESSLY. Monica is an excellent and very professional stylist. She is friendly, has great advice, and doesn't rush at all. She is one of those stylist that is hard to find. She pays attention to detail and has an eye for color and precision cutting so my cut and color always grow out nicely. In addition, she uses quality hair products so there is no chemical residue smell in my hair when I leave and no strong odors in her salon. Her salon has a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I always look forward to my appointments.
I’m glad I finally found a forever barbershop for my son! After trying multiple places and being disappointed in my son’s haircuts, we tried 77 barbershop today based off the great reviews. We walked in without an appointment and Anna fit us right in! She listened to what my son told her he wanted and she did exactly that, which never happens. He walked out of there grinning ear to ear! My mom would take my brother and I here to this location in the 90's when it was Dave's Barbershop. When Dave's closed down and Yen's opened up I was old enough to pay for my own haircut and have been visiting Yen's Barbershop ever since. I've easily been a loyal patron for over a decade and I won't go anywhere else but Yen's when I'm home. She knows exactly what I want when I come in and always takes such good care of me. I came to Diane nails and omggg they have an amazing nail technician Long took care of me and gave me such an excellent service. But he did above and beyond to fix my previous nails to transform them into what I call art work. I totally recommend to book your next appointment with Long not only will you be walking out with beautiful nails but you will be having an amazing time with him. Totally worth your penny!

I had an AMAZING experience at Salon 730 over the weekend - from start to finish, I had a lovely time as a new client and I will most certainly return. I was very impressed by the layout of the salon and felt very comfortable during my 5 hour session. I had DaVinci as my stylist and I cannot recommend her enough!!! She is as cute as a button, made me feel at ease and taken care of the entire time, and answered all of my questions throughout the process. I came to DaVinci requesting a Balayage for upcoming engagement photos and WOW, I look and feel like a movie star. DaVinci is an artist and I absolutely LOVED being her canvas. I HIGHLY recommend Salon 730 if you are looking for a stylist that will make you feel special and will take the time to get to know you - I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of the professionals there to choose from.

Tiffany did my makeup, my bridesmaids, and my mom's makeup on my wedding day! I don't wear a lot of makeup, so this was a new experience for me and Tiffany did such an amazing job. She asked us questions about what we like and didn't like. She did such a great job and our makeup looked so natural. She did a great job balancing hair and makeup the morning of, and sent out a detailed schedule and tips leading up to wedding day. It felt like we got a princess treatment! I also highly recommend doing a trial beforehand to plan for your big day and avoid any hiccups.

"All In" is awesome. The staff is friendly and great at what they do. Don't need an appointment but be prepared cuz they could be busy. But that is just because they are that good. I'm updating my review because I have been here 3 times now. I first came here and got my eyebrow pierced by Mandi. She is awesome and did a fantastic job. Then I got a little cat tattoo from Rob. He is awesome and did a fantastic job with it. And just now I got a rune tattoo from Alex. At the risk of sounding repetitive, he is awesome and did a fantastic job. My go-to tattoo shop. I don’t ever want to go anywhere else. And probably never will. The staff, from artists to receptionists, are all friendly, chill, and cooperative. Super helpful with setting up appointments, date changes, designing, and idea development. Artists all have a strong sense understanding what their client wants and then embodying that into their art. I’ve had 3 tattoos done by two different artists here so far one being a cover up, which I am so grateful they were able to do and it turned out amazing!

Bishop is my favorite artist. He fixed a tattoo I had gotten years earlier from a different studio from some amateur dirtbag. It was my first tattoo and I didn't know any better. If I had not moved from VA to Texas I would only go to this studio. If I had the money and time to fly and see Bishop for all my tatooo work that would be most ideal.

This is a women run business and Chris who helps out up front, and they are all perfectly amazing. I am living with a neurocognitive disorder and a they did not let that stop them from giving me amazing service. They are wonderfully inclusive, welcoming everyone as they are without any sign of bias. My artist was Frankie and do not let the word apprentice scare you, as she is a fantastic artist and did a great job of making my tattoo perfectly the way I wanted it. I set up an appointment for Plumb Perfect to give me an estimate on installation of a bathtub. Justin Ward came out and kept me informed of when he would arrive . Gary and his team were professional, cordial, and respectful. They explained the process of the piping replacement from digging through the floor slab to post pipe replacement leak testing and sealing the floor back with concrete. They were very accommodating and answered any questions I had about pipe damage and replacement, and area maintenance around the pipes. With such a disruptive and apprehensive experience as this, they made it as comfortable and reassuring as possible. They did a great job and finished within the estimated time. I called ASAP when I had water leaking from the dining room light. They came out right away and were able to accurately diagnose the problem in no time! Water was leaking from the upstairs bathroom and has been for a while! I called my insurance to make a claim and Michael from ASAP handled the estimate and pictures required for the claim. Michael was very responsive to my questions and made the whole experience very easy for me. From the day I called for the initial inspection, it took them less than a week to come in and start repairs. They not only handled the plumbing, but they fixed the drywall, painted, and replaced everything back to it's original place. Most companies I have dealt with in the past will only handle the plumbing and I would have to call another company to fix the drywall and put the bathroom back to it's original state. Once repairs were done, Michael ensured that everything was up to standard. It looks even better than it did before! I recommend ASAP to anyone who has plumbing needs. Called during the weekend about getting a hose bib replaced (not a rush job). I tried to DIY but wasn't in my skill set. Got a call back Monday morning, appointment scheduled for Thursday morning. Plumber showed up right on time and was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and overall great guy. Ended up having both hose bibs replaced (on my own accord) and a valve was added for easy shutoff at no extra cost. He showed me the old units and the failures (burst hose bibs). I was extremely satisfied with my experience and felt the pricing was very fair, especially after some follow research on Reddit. Had a faulty valve replaced. Carol who is in the office was a tremendous help during our ordeal. We were without hot water for 11 days due to manufacturer not wanting to cover warranty but eventually they agreed. I called Colonial on Thursday and the repair man called and came on Friday as I was told. When he came in, he looked at the stove, turned off the circuit breaker, to the stove, took the face plate off and looked at it. He proceeded to take it off and the went to his van, returning with the part he needed. When he had everything back together, my issued was resolved. I had a problem with this stove once before and called a recommended repair service. The first time they looked and said they didn't have the part with them. They came back only to discover the ordered the wrong part. The third time, over a week later, they got the issue fixed. One time vs three times and one day vs almost 2 weeks, Colonial Repair deserves 5 stars in my book. No question who I will call for.my next appliance repair.
I was fortunate enough to have Raymond, the owner, come out to check out a Sub-Zero fridge that was acting up, and I can't speak more highly of his professionalism and friendliness. He was able to solve the issue within a matter of minutes and was more than happy to answer a few questions I had along the way.
As far as I understand it, Sub-Zero works with a select group of certified technicians to work on their appliances, and I believe this is the only in the nearby area. Fortunately, Raymond and Raytech are great choices for that work if you end up needing it. Also, kudos to the friendly scheduling/office staff for giving me all the information I needed on the phone ahead of my appointment. Much appreciated!

Kevin does it all, and does it all well - he is the business owner, but he's also the person who comes to clean your carpets! So unlike a lot of companies that delegate their work down to employees who don't have a vested interest in the company, you get the business owner who really cares about the customer. I have to admit, we haven't gotten our carpets cleaned in a long time, but my friend recommended Kevin to us. Kevin was super responsive to email (even in the evening), and he showed up right on time once we settled on a date. He worked SO hard - his shirt was soaked with sweat by the end of the 4-5 hours. I'm never saw him even sit down for a break the entire time he was with us. And he was so pleasant when refilling his bucket with water. He even noticed our carpet was peeling back in one spot and stapled it back for us, and took care of this horrible stain on a white chair without us asking. When the carpets were done, they looked AH-MAZING! All those stains my kids tracked in were completely gone. Kevin said there were some spots he couldn't get out because I used the wrong cleaners on them but even those looked so much better. After the carpet dried, I noticed that it was a little brittle feeling, and having not gotten my carpet cleaned in a long time, I wasn't sure if this is normal/expected. Kevin was so kind with my questions, and insisted on coming over immediately to feel the carpet himself. He said what I felt is normal but was so willing to wash the carpet again with water if that would make me feel better. I can't say enough good things about Kevin and his customer service. Oh, and did I mention the prices?? They were so reasonable - $35 a room (up to 150 square feet)!
Heavens Best Carpet showed up on time, and returned our carpet ahead of scheduled. When they brought our carpet back they moved furniture to lay it back down. The rugs looked a lot better and we were well satisfied.

All of Virginia roofing did an excellent job for me. I had hail and wind damage. Kenny Matute was great. He inspected initially and found the damage that was creating the leak and then also found where it was leaking in other areas I didn’t know about.
Kenny then was at my home waiting for the insurance adjuster to make sure I was being properly treated. From then on the claim and the new roof all went on perfectly. I couldn’t be happier with how the company operates and my experience with Kenny. I have already recommended them to several patients in need of repair.
I had recently had a contractor install a 12"X12" cedar pergola on my patio in my backyard. I felt it necessary to have a gutter system to direct the water from the patio into my flower beds. I got four estimates: $1595; $1,844; $8,000; and Jim's estimate. The only difference was the three estimates were with larger companies and dealing with sales representatives and instructed me I needed gutter guards. Jim's estimate was less than 1/2 of the lowest bid and told me I did not need gutter guards. Jim's work came with a 3 years workmanship and 15 years materials guarantee. The workmanship and quality of the gutters are outstanding!! Dealing with Jim and his wife to schedule the work and completing the project was seamless and they were very helpful and informative. I had my old sidewalk and steps demolished and new sidewalk and steps. The concrete work is great. I also had my stamped concrete patio power washed, resealed and it looks brand new again. They also in 2021 demolished my deck and built my patio. They also mulched all my flower beds and put down new grass around the new sidewalk. The customer service is top notch. Tony and his crew came through our neighborhood today, a few days after Hurricane Idalia. They gave an absolutely amazing price, in my opinion, for cutting up 5 trees and placing them on the right of way to be picked up. We used Andrew and his crew for a large hardscaping project. They transformed our outside space, from old, and unusable to a great outdoor space. We had an existing patio - but everything else was ancient. They removed old wood stairs, and retaining walls, pulled up old paths and carport and redid the entire outside, including a large extension off the carport and a redo or our old french drain/dry river bed. It's amazing, can't say enough about the the whole process. The crew onsite were wonderful. Andrew was amazing to deal with, as was Mario. You guys rock. We can't wait to be able to use it all this year. Now to the next part - landscaping!!!
My husband and I have been going to Southpoint Quality Dental for many years now (probably since they opened here in Massaponax) and we have never, ever, been unhappy or disappointed with the service they provide. The staff is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are completely comfortable during your visit. Both, my husband and myself, have been completely satisfied with everyone who works there and all the work that they have performed on us, and we don’t plan on ever leaving or going anywhere else!

This Dentist does the extraction of teeth and dental implants. My wife had to get two teeth extracted this morning and the staff is very nice and very efficient. Doctor Ryan M Bailey extracted her two teeth. He did a excellent job and was very nice. They were very quick and thorough through this process and made it a excellent process for my wife. They put her to sleep because of her anxiety and we're done In around 30 minutes. Then they were very thorough in explaining everything to do afterwards. They even took the time to wish me a happy birthday today. This is a excellent place to go if you need your teeth extracted.

I went in for 2 cavities to be filled. I have never had cavities before so I did not know what to expect and was anxiety ridden. I had worried needlessly. I was expertly anesthetized, set at ease and comforted during the entire process.
We live in the City of Fredericksburg and are so happy we found this dental office. Dr Heresi is wonderful. He cares about his patients and you can tell. He's a great dentist and very careful and gentle. From what I can tell his whole staff is great, professional and caring. I highly recommend this practice. As someone who is VERY sensitive about my teeth, I often have many questions. Fredericksburg Dental is always so kind, accommodating, and takes the time to address my concerns. I even go for quarterly cleanings and am satisfied every time.
I've seen several chiropractors for lower back problems over the years. I thought I was having another similar problem. Scott took one look at me and said, 'not your back, it's your hips.' Different adjustment and my pain went away. I'm a happy camper.

Now pregnant with our fourth, I’m still just as happy as I was when I first started. He adjusted our second a few days after he was born to current. (As long as you’re being seen, your baby is seen for a full year for free ?) that was something I was looking for an an office and I was happy to find it with HOH! They also have packages that make adjustments a little cheaper and I’m all for that as well! They’re always able to work you in, even if you don’t have an appointment.. as long as you’re understanding and willing to wait if necessary. JP has been able to manage all pregnancy, postpartum and infant needs. You won’t regret it! ?
Been going to Dr. Henzler for 15+yrs. Doc is amazing! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my back. I get horrible migraines and his adjustments are one of the only things that helps. He and his staff truly care. They are honest and awesome! The massages there are also always top notch!

Milestone Chiropractic Centre is clean, comforting, and staff is always so friendly/helpful! This review is long overdue. CRAH were incredible when it was time to say goodbye to our senior-baby-girl. We'd stayed well past opening time and were not rushed, we were treated like family, and that's more than we could have asked for. The compassion and kindness that we felt was everything. Over the past few years, we've always been very pleased with how Confederate Ridge has taken care of our girl. Surgery, diagnosis of skin problems (that we'd been paying for injections at $100 a pop at another vet, who completely misdiagnosed and overcharged us), and general checkups - always on point. We could tell she was loved and cared for by staff whenever we showed up. There's usually a wait to be seen, and appointments can take a while to get with how popular CRAH has become. Even though we live over an hour and a half away, I'd still come back here if we add to our family again.
We have been going to this veterinarian clinic for over 20 yrs. During that time, they have provided exceptional care and services for our menagerie of pets. Dr. Wagner, Dr. Minniear, Dr. Bakerian and staff have always been available in an emergency or just for an annual checkup and boosters. In addition to providing veternarian care, they also provide special diets, grooming and boarding services.

I have never had a bad experience at Hartwood Animal Hospital! I've been going to Dr. Jewett since they opened. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. It shows in how she interactes with the animals she treats!
I would give 10 stars if I could. Where do I even begin. Yesterday our cat fell extremely ill and we rushed her to a local vet. Testing and xrays showed a bad uterus infection requiring immediate emergency surgery. We were then told "She needs emergency surgery but we close at 5" My wife not knowing what else to do called Lees Hill Pet Hospital. They immediately said bring her here. Verifying what the other vet had diagnosed they immediately rushed her back and performed the necessary surgery. The OWNERS, vets and Staff stayed until almost 9pm with us, hours after they closed. Offered us water and were in constant communication as to the current condition of our cat. They also checked on her throughout the night ensuring she was doing ok, monitoring her vitals. I have never in my life had an animal hospital show such compassion and love for us and our animal. We will NEVER go anywhere else from this day forward. We can not thank them enough for their time, effort and compassion. They truly saved her life.
We have taken our family dogs to White Oak Animal Hospital for over 25 years now. All of the vets there are fabulous, but a special shout-out to Dr. Bell, who is a rockstar in our eyes for taking such good care of Winnie, our little cockapoo, who got very sick earlier this year with inflammatory bowel disease. She's doing great now thanks to Dr. Bell! Dr. Bell, Dr. Pepper, Dr. Skarbek, and every vet there, and everyone from the ladies at the front to all that work behind the scenes, are incredibly kind and work hard to take care of our pets! Also, their groomers are fabulous - Victoria has groomed our curly pups for years now and is amazing! Thank you, WOAH, for being consistently the best around!

Took my cat Charlie in the beginning of the year for some dental care. The Dr was up front about the care he needed - a full extraction. The price they quoted was very fair and they did their best to honor that quote even though the procedure was a little more difficult than anticipated. ~8 months later Charlie is a new man living his best life.

The Vet was very informative yet allowed me to decide what’s best for my pet without unwarranted influence. Everyone in the office seemed to enjoy their jobs making for a pleasant experience. Kencheloe: A Purrfect Place for a Hormonal Kitty
I cannot say enough good things about Kencheloe! They were absolutely amazing with my cat, Death Evader, who was in a very hormonal state. The staff was incredibly patient and understanding, even when she was being a little diva.
The procedure went smoothly, and Death Evader is already feeling much better. She's no longer as grumpy or agitated, and she's even starting to purr again! I'm a client here and appreciate Dr. Ahmad, however the prices I don't get. I'm so embarrassed for my elderly neighbor whose dog was brought there for an eye issue and was charged about $600. He was released with eye drops. I really wanna know all details so I'll stop here.

Update: owner reached out to me and was apologetic for this miscommunication. Took my pet to the Plank Rd location instead and he had a great experience. I called to get a full grooming for my 10 lb Poodle Mix and was quoted $135 for a bathe and haircut. Not sure if the receptionist was inexperienced but that seems a bit ridiculous for the service requested. We recently moved to the area from Arlington, VA and I have never paid more than $85 there for the same service so of course I was shocked with this quote.

She provided an amazing massage experience - I felt safe, relaxed, and rejuvenated. Imani is a very positive and caring therapist. This review is long overdue, but I've been coming here regularly for over a year now and the staff here is amazing! I typically see Helen, she is an actual angel that puts me back together every month. She is amazing at finding the knots and their origins and getting them out! She does combination techniques for whatever I need at the moment, I do the barefoot massage and she is amazing at using enough pressure to fix me but checking in to make sure I'm comfortable. I have gone to other therapists in an emergency if I pinch a nerve or tweak something and Helen isn't available and everyone I've seen has been knowledgeable and very good at what they do, highly recommend!
I was apprehensive about getting a massage (previously asked for a Swedish and recieved a deep tissue as a first massage EVER a couple years ago in DC) since my very first almost crippled me. But, took the plunge and had Ed. IT WAS SO WONDERFUL! I can't recommend him enough! Very professional and thorough. My apprehension is gone and I will be returning! Thank you Ed!

I recently moved to the area and was searching for a new massage therapist. Rachel was the first one I booked with and I think my search will end with her! Booking the massage online was easy and there are options for add-ons (some free of charge). I chose a deep tissue massage with aromatherapy, gua shua and sound healing add ons.
Upon arrival, parking was easy. I was lucky enough to get a street spot right outside. There is also a parking garage close by. I arrived early and waited in my car until I received a text from Rachel saying she was ready. The massage studio is on the 2nd floor, and she requests that you wait downstairs until she is ready. Upon entering the space, I felt immediately at ease with the calming music, plants and calming scents. Before the massage, Rachel asked me questions about areas to focus on.
The massage itself was amazing. The aromatherapy and gua shua were the best tools to help release a lot of stress I've been holding in my body since moving. She was also able to identify areas of tension that I didn't know existed (until the deep tissue massage brought out the pain, lol). At the end, she provided a sound healing session with the sound bowls in the room. It was beautiful, peaceful and just what my body and soul needed. I will definitely be booking another massage with Rachel soon!
Not only is Dana my friend but she’s also one of the most gifted massage therapists I’ve ever met. I’ve had many many different types of massages but nothing quite like what I get with Dana. I believe it’s because she uses other techniques such as MFR & energy work. She knows the body & is so intuitive about where she works on you. She’s helping me release a lot & I am so grateful. Go see Dana for a life transforming massage experience!
Have not went there for her services, but I do know Lizzy personally as an friend. So if her massage therapy is as great as person she is...I could only imagine the level of comfort people feel after leaving their sessions. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LIZZY
I had my first massage by Jason Ostrander and it was amazing! He listened to what I needed/wanted and he went above and beyond. I’m a physical therapist and do massage as well, so I’m a pretty hard judge and I would highly recommend him. He has experience and knows and understand the human body. I left feeling so much better and relaxed. I can’t wait for the next session!

JB is the absolute best massage therapist I have ever had work on me. I used to live in San Diego and had a massage therapist I adored. Moving here was hard with regards to finding someone who could fix my body (I do jiu jitsu and am often sore and tight). I went through several people here and am so incredibly thankful JB was recommended to me. He is so skillful and knowledgeable about the muscles, fascia and anatomy as a whole. He has been working on me for several years now and has made the move from San Diego enjoyable. I recommend JB 100% and refer my family and friends to him every chance I get. You can’t go wrong by choosing her as your regular massage therapist. She is down to earth human being and most of all she knows her job so well. I took my mom to Eve for a deep tissue massage and she has been asking to go regularly. She is that good!
