We used Charlton & Groome for funeral services after my father's unexpected death. We were grateful for the kindness and gentle guidance from Allison Spears, Funeral Director. She led us well through all parts of process, and I can't say enough about the compassionate care she provided our family - made a very difficult time a bit more bearable. Facilities were clean, beautiful, and all services were handled respectfully and honored our wishes.
My Mother-in-Law recently passed and Charlton & Groome was recommended by a friend. We met John Groome (Funeral Director) the next day and in accordance with her wishes we set up a cremation. John was very sympathetic and understanding throughout the entire process. He did a great job explaining every detail and all costs associated. This funeral home goes above and beyond when you need that the most. The funeral home took care of everything for our event in a matter of days. My mom died unexpectedly and she did not have anything planned. I don't think the cost was unreasonable they were upfront about all costs. Joey at the funeral home took care of everything for us. It is hard to recommend a place I hope no one has to use but if you dom. This place is great!
