“Miyu is a *gorgeous* studio space--serene, inviting, and cocooning in the best ways--with terrific classes and instructors, and a wonderful, really uniquely wide range of offerings. There's terrific mat pilates, a range of yoga styles, small-group reformer pilates, sound baths, even aerial yoga, and allllll kinds of fun workshops! Feels like a beautiful little escape from the hectic rush of the area.

I love taking classes and workshops here...so much so that I became an instructor about a year ago, and have felt so embraced, uplifted and supported by the owner and teaching and student communities. I've met some of my absolute favorite workshop collaborators here and folks I know will be in my life for a long, long time.

(There's also non-toxic nailcare in the front, and you'd never guess if you didn't see the stations because there's absolutely no chemical smell at all. I haven't taken advantage of this service yet but can't wait to try it sometime! Have heard great things.)“

“Chichi is awesome! I went in for microblading and she was gentle with my brows, painless and quick. She convinced me to come back for eyelash extensions I was hesitant but decided to try and oh mine! It looked natural and was on for about a month. I went back today for my final touch up after canceling appointments twice and again it was painless I slept off.

“I meant to write this ages ago, but this nail salon is truly one of my favorites. The staff are incredibly sweet and accommodating—if I feel like chatting, they’re so refreshing, but if I’m not in the mood to talk, they give me space in the most pleasant and respectful way. I’ve never felt uncomfortable or out of place there. They’re amazing at acrylics, with at least one girl who can do intricate designs, though they really shine at perfecting the basics. Their pedicures and manicures are consistently 10/10.

The salon is super clean, and their hospitality sets them apart. One of the employees even gave me a keychain for my niece—it’s thoughtful little gestures like that that make me adore this place. They always do their best to squeeze me in when I’m in a pinch, but making an appointment or giving them a heads-up is usually best. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes.

All in all, this is one of the best salons I’ve been to in the area, and I’m so glad it’s close to where I live. Highly recommend!“
