I just had a super pleasant and valuable (expert advice over the phone that made sure I was purchasing compatible hardware) experience at Grainger. Was my first time shopping there. They did a lot of little things to remove friction from the whole experience. Two things I especially appreciated - appropriate filters on their website. Sounds corny but their filters were thoughtful and laid out from a buyer’s perspective. Also funny but great - I walked in to pickup an order. Instead of an order id, they asked me for my first name.
