About VisualEyes Optometrists - Fairfax
VisualEyes Optometrists aims to provide patients with comprehensive and thorough eye exams, allowing 30 minutes for a relaxed experience. While Dr. Ogden receives high praise for his care and professionalism, some patients have reported issues with the front desk staff and their ability to manage appointments and insurance information. However, many reviews highlight the welcoming and attentive nature of the staff, as well as the thorough explanations given during eye exams. Patients appreciate the extensive frame selection and expert advice from the optician, making it easier to find the perfect glasses. Overall, VisualEyes Optometrists offers a caring environment focused on patient satisfaction, though there are areas for improvement in administrative processes.
Let me start by saying Dr. Ogden is 5 stars all the way. The store front and staff are maybe a 1-2.
Every time I visit the front desk staff have no clue who I am, even though I’ve been a patient for 3 annual eye exams and one prescription order. They can’t find my name in the system. They can’t find my insurance. It’s either complete ineptitude on their part or their software system is faulty. Not only that, but they place the blame squarely on the patient! I have very little faith in their ability, and hence I won’t be returning for a 4th annual exam. This is a shame, because Dr. Ogden really is a great optometrist.
I love the workers here but it has been a pain to receive a copy of my prescription! After my recent eye exam I asked if I could receive a printed copy of my prescription and the worker said they would email it to me instead. Never received the email. I then call and request a copy a week later, they said they would email it to me in the next five minutes. And I never received it again. Only on my third time requesting a copy of my prescription did I finally get it.
