4105 Rust Rd, Fairfax“took my guinea pig there back in february when her normal vet couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her and she was losing weight fast. going to an exotics vet is so important if you have a guinea pig or other small animal. my other vet was good but she just wasn’t knowledgeable enough on guinea pigs. i learned my lesson and now will only trust an exotics vet with my babies. thank you stahl for finding and treating my piggie’s ovarian cyst and giving me more time with her when i was scared i would lose her. they really are the best!“

10396 Willard Way, Fairfax“Love them! They take care of my dog so well!! They are kind, compassionate, and their office is lovely. They have beds in the rooms for the animals and toys, etc. My dog still doesn't love going to the vet, but it makes it so much better than it has been! So glad they are fear-free!“

3883 Pickett Road, Fairfax“We have been going to see Dr. Texeira for about seven years now for our pack of pups. One of the best vets in the area by far. One of our rescue dogs is extremely reactive due to the abuse she suffered in her early life.
Dr. T has been the only vet who has taken the time to help us manage these behaviors and coach us through how to keep her calm during her visits. I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. If you trust your pets to Montrose, they will be in great hands.“

3170 Campbell Dr, Fairfax“5/5 Stars
I cannot say enough good things about Campbell Animal Hospital! I was always nervous about getting my cat her first dental cleaning, but I am so happy I decided to do it here. Dr. Olivia Kim is absolutely amazing. She is so attentive to detail and provided the best care for my cat. After the cleaning, my cat’s teeth look so clean!!
Dr. Olivia also went above and beyond by addressing my cat’s weight issues. She recommended a specific overweight management dry food, and to my surprise, my cat absolutely loves it! I feel so reassured knowing she’s in great hands and on a healthier path.
The entire team—Doctor, techs, and front desk staff—are all so kind, professional, and compassionate. They made the whole process seamless and stress-free. I’m truly grateful for the exceptional care they provided. Highly recommend Campbell Animal Hospital to anyone looking for the best care for their furry family members!“

8500 Route, 29 Lee Hwy, Fairfax“I have been a client at Mainstay Veterinary Practice since Dr. Hitt opened the doors about 14 years ago. We are a multi dog household and when you have a lot of dogs that usually means a a significant number of vet visits to keep them healthy and provide them with the best life possible particularly as they age. From minor issues to major health crises, I have always received great advice and multiple treatment choices that are carefully explained to me. I never feel forced into a particular option. It's as though we're a team and are going to come up with the best plan together. And that method has saved many of my dogs' life and made those golden years far better for many of them. The entire staff at Mainstay is focused on excellent care, kindness and compassion. There really aren't any downsides to this clinic. They outshine many an advanced care/emergency treatment practice. It's always about what is best for my dogs and me.“

11230 Waples Mill Rd #125a, Fairfax“I am so thankful to have found ABWC and Dr. Pike specifically. My senior dog had significant, negative behavior changes a few months into bringing a new puppy into the home. These behavioral changes were compounded by issues caused by a mystery injury years earlier that never fully healed. We had tried several regular veterinarians for both the behavioral issues and the injury, but nobody was able to provide any real relief.
Dr. Pike was extremely warm, thorough, and nonjudgmental. We implemented the environmental changes Dr. Pike recommended and tried the medications suggested. Within only a few weeks, I felt like I got my old dog back. The negative behaviors disappeared, and my dog no longer seemed constantly distressed. His unresolved injury has also improved dramatically.
Although ABWC is pricey, for me, it's money well spent. I only wish I had called them sooner.“

4103 Rust Rd, Fairfax“Dr. Corcoran is wonderful. My dog had a reoccurring eye ulcer. He wore an e-collar for over a month and his ulcer would not heal. We were both depressed. When we went to Dr. Corcoran she said “it’s going to heal and it’s not coming back”. The e-collar came off immediately and the quality of our lives was greatly improved. His eye healed and there are no signs of reoccurrence. I am so grateful.“

11213 Lee Hwy p, Fairfax“Took my cat here for dental cleaning and my (I hope my cat’s too) experience was very good. Dr. Castro took time to explain everything to me before and after the procedure. It was the first time taking my cat for dental cleaning and I was nervous. The kitty was already running around at night and doing his own thing, the procedure was in the morning. A few days before this I received an estimate and paid exactly the same amount as my estimate was. Three years ago, when I was moving to Germany, I had a great experience with Tango Animal Hospital as they were able to get the health certificate my cat needed to travel. Most of vets in the area weren’t able to do so in a timely manner. During those three years they followed up and sent reminders for vaccinations and everything else.“
“I foster dogs for a local rescue that has a relationship with JAH. Sadly one of my elder pups had bladder cancer and declined very rapidly. Dr. Johnson squeezed us into her busy schedule for euthanasia the same day I contacted the office. Throughout the process, she was so caring and we never felt rushed. Our sweet pooch passed very peacefully. A few days later, I received the kindest sympathy card with notes from the staff and Dr. Johnson. When I get my next dog, I'm seriously considering taking it to Dr. Johnson even though there are many other vets closer to me in Arlington. The staff are equally kind and personable and remember patients even after only a single visit. This practice is a treasure.“
