I needed stitches removed. My wait time was a little long but the nurse who removed the stitches was very nice. She did a good job and helped me with another area that needed a new covering that I can’t reach myself. I didn’t need to see the doctor this time which was fine.
Needless to say, no one looks forward to MOHS surgery - especially on their face. That being said, the team here was superb, from the Surgical Techs to the Doctors themselves. I like the fact that the team is largely made up of veterans who have been forward deployed in combat conditions. Dr. Dolan was professional, calm and clearly cared about my outcome. Everything was explained step by step, including post op instructions. Finally, they were very responsive to my follow up questions submitted by text. Highly recommend this practice.
I especially appreciate the check in after my procedure to see how I was doing.
I visited the skin cancer surgery center in Fairfax to have a cancerous area removed. From the time I arrived until the time I left, they treated me with incredible amount of care, respect, and kindness. I had a true feeling that I was in the hands of extremely confident professionals.
