“I had to find a new OB after my previous OB retired. Like all moms, finding an practice that you feel cares about you, your baby/babies, and also puts time into looking over your history and talking through each and every concern as well as giving you unbiased information so that you can make informed decisions is extremely important, but unfortunately rare. I had tried out a different practice before calling Greenbriar and even the first phone call blew me away. I was given all necessary information and the woman I spoke with (Heather) was so helpful in getting my first appointment scheduled and immediately gave me supportive resources. She was determined to find me a slot even though they were pretty booked. I just had my first appointment and can already say that all staff I interacted with were friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. The CNM, Melissa, that I had my appointment with was so thorough and explained each step we would take that day. She has great bedside manner and made me feel seen and heard. While I have not met Dr. Gopal yet I have received raving reviews from others who have been with her. It's really nice to step into this practice and feel like they have been doing this for years and that they really enjoy their jobs in helping others. “I've been coming to this practice since I moved to Herndon five years ago, and have had nothing but positive experiences. With a long history of GYN issues which require diligent monitoring and regular follow-up, as well as through my need for an infertility referral, and subsequent pregnancy and delivery, I've spent more than my fair share of time interacting and being treated by nearly all of the different doctors at this practice. As with any large group practice, there will be staff and doctors you prefer over others, but I've never had an unpleasant experience with anyone. She has been very kind, answers my questions and knows exactly what she's doing. She has a calming bedside manner. She is well known at fairfax hospital and has been doing this for years. I really appreciated that she wanted what was best for me and the baby and didn't push for an unnecessary c section like I've heard some doctors do. I feel like she knows what pregnant women go thru and she is very comforting.“

“Had a 9 am appointment for an annual wellness exam. Arrived early. Front office was friendly and welcoming. I was called back on time, and the nurse who did the initial exam was lovely and I enjoyed talking to her.

The CNM was running behind about 20 minutes, but the nurse informed me, so I wasn’t left wondering. When Sue Mersch did come in, she was friendly and direct. She answered my questions and worries concerning my endometriosis, which was helpful and eased my mind.

She made the exam painless and asked for my comfort on all steps. She also adjusted the speculum size when the initial one caused discomfort. Because of this, it was easily both the easiest and the best checkup I’ve had for this area in years (and that’s saying something because what woman doesn’t dread these appointments?).“

“Best OBGYN practice I have EVER been to…the entire staff from front desk to medical assistants and NP’s are all amazing. They all make you feel at home, always have a smile on their face and are very professional; BUT what made my experience here exceptional is the team of doctors that I got to work with…HONESTLY the most caring, professional, knowledgeable and down to earth group of doctors I have ever gotten a chance to work with. I had a very difficult delivery and was hospitalized for a while antepartum and it was amazing how Dr. Hashemi, Dr. Meriman, Dr. Shustarovic and Dr. Diamond, all went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of day in and day out. They kept an eye on not just my physical wellbeing but also on my emotional wellbeing, they rounded on me multiple times a day and took their time to talk with me to make sure all is well (since I was in a very tough place and had to be hospitalized). They are so knowledgeable, professional and kind. I trust them with my life and my baby’s life over and over again. They delivered my little girl safely in an emergency and I am forever grateful to them. The amazing Dr. Shustarovic was on call for my delivery (which. Was on a Sunday) but Dr. Hashemi went out of her way and dropped everything she had to do on a weekend to be able to attend my delivery as well (I’m at a loss of words for how to thank her for that). Dr. Hashemi is so amazing and such an inspiration, she is so smart, funny, kind and professional and care so deeply about her patients. She makes you feel like family and makes the best of every situation. She is a TOP NOTCH OBGYN and my go to doc for all my future pregnancies/deliveries.
