I have visited Kay’s Nails at their Fairfax location 3 times now. First for a regular mani/pedi with no polish on the mani, again for a toe polish change, underarm and upper lip waxes, and no polish mani, and again for a gel manicure with a design. Each time I was impressed and very satisfied with their professionalism and skills. The salon is very cute and clean! They take care to offer you tea, coffee, or water upon entering. I’ve mostly been let down by salons where their work looked great on the Instagram but their actual service and work have been disappointing. I’ve been following Kay’s Amazing Nails on Instagram for a while now and decided to make an appointment yesterday. Not only were they nice and polite, I couldn’t have asked for better work. It was exactly what I wanted, my cuticles are clean, and now I’m looking at my nails nonstop because I love them so much. I’m definitely coming back to this place when I need my nails done.

I learned about this place through another nail shop owner in Virginia Beach, Virgina. We were talking about how it's hard to find a good salon, not hers! That does designs and decent artwork these days. Something close to what we'd get in Japan or Korea. She mentioned she found this spot on Instagram and wanted to try it out.I could be bias, but once you get your nails done in a country like Korea or Japan it's hard to find a place in America that even comes close.I checked it out and put it on my list of places to try out, too.
