We started our journey with FFMA a little over 2 years ago. My 8 yr old wanted to learn martial arts and when we talked to the instructors at FFMA about the class structure and found that everyone including adults and kids take classes together, my wife and I ended up enrolling as well :) it's been nothing but truly an amazing and enriching journey for us. We have learned a lot of great things and all the instructors are top notch and very helpful. Additionally, our son also signed up and finished their STORM program and was excited to receive the coveted blue uniform. My family started lessons one month ago at Focus Family and highly recommend it for fun, exercise, self defense, and self confidence. My wife and I and our 5 and 10 years old kids have been going twice per week. We dove right in with a variety of stances, kicks, punches, and combinations. I'd say I already feel twice as able to defend myself just by learning the basics. And my legs are currently sore from this week's classes...in a good way. Ms Dolan and Mr. Dove have been very helpful and interested in our success. My family has attended Focus Family Martial Arts Academy for one and a half years. We enjoy going to class and earning our belts together. The instructors are encouraging and truly care about each member of our family. I also appreciate the focus on character and leadership. They provide positive reenforcement for the values we are teaching at home. Their STORM (Special Team of Role Models) program has helped my children develop leadership skills and gain confidence. Overall this is a top notch and well rounded Karate academy.
