“I had a working GFCI that stopped working after 8+ years and I thought it had gone bad and needed to be replaced. I bought a new one and wired it exactly the same as the old one, and it still wasn't working. I called Mike who told me while he couldn't come fix the issue, he would walk me through troubleshooting the issue. Turns out I had both the old and new receptacles wired backwards and the old one was more forgiving. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with me, my problem was solved. “We had Mario help us out with a few outlets that weren't working which we thought was initially because of the gfci. Mario went above and beyond to diagnose the issue. He ended up opening up the main breaker panel and to our surprise it turns out the issue was completely opposite of what we thought it was.
