“My husband and I engaged LPS as our design and build firm through the referral by Susan, our consultant. It was one of the best decisions we have made. While some of our friends experienced so many headaches during their renovation projects, our process was smooth sailing. Thanks to the LPS team.

From the first meeting with Doug (LPS owner), Joey (kitchen designer and expert) and Susan (interior design and consultant), it had been a pleasant experience. The team diligently listened to our needs and provided valuable suggestions on how we could make our kitchen bigger. They were professional and extremely easy to communicate with. Then, prior to the project launch, we met with Noe (project manager) and Lee (back office manager), who were totally accommodating. They understood our need to stay in the house while the renovation was in progress. They helped us break down the project in phases to minimize any inconvenience to us. Matthew, another back office staff, was equally helpful. He answered any questions we had timely and helped us follow up internally and externally as required. The team worked seamlessly with other vendors and kept us posted on delivery status.

As the project began, we got to meet the painters, plumbers, electricians, tile / hardwood floor installers, carpenters, and handyman, etc. The entire team worked tirelessly and meticulously to ensure we have a high-quality product. Given how detail-oriented both my husband and I are, we asked a lot of questions throughout the process. Noe and his team addressed every one of them quickly and adjusted their work if we had any preference that would not cause safety or compliance issues. The electricians also gave suggestions on what could be done to hide certain power outlets to improve aesthetics! There were cases when we were uncertain about our wants and changed our minds a couple of times, the team was truly patient with us.

As a result of their work, we now have a kitchen where my children and I can fully enjoy. We spend time cooking and baking together whenever possible. This will surely create some beautiful memories for our family.

LPS turned our very basic playroom into a comfortable seating area for family games or my child to play her instrument. We also love the powder room and master bathroom they did for us.

Putting aside the catharsis of having people tear out the old bathroom (without damaging anything else), one of the real highlights was when they found a small hole in the slab under my bathtub and quickly came up with a solution for the problem in mere minutes. “Manex remodeling is an awesome company. They did renovate my 2 bathrooms, my 2 living rooms (first floor and second floor) stairs , railings and basically my whole house except kitchen with competitive price. They even installed a washer hook up upstairs. Tony , their leader is easy to talk with and gave precise advise on what to buy just like porcelain tiles, shower system, freestanding tub, laminate floor, toilet sit and more. He encouraged me also to change my stairs railings and I am very happy with the outcome. Their electrician is very skilled and knowledgeable. The team plumber who did my second floor plumbing system because of expanding my bathroom and installing my washer is very meticulous. The one who installed the porcelain tiles is very precise and pleasant and very satisfying to work with. All of his team did their best to work with my family that we don’t need to rent an apartment to evacuate the house . I even leave some of my furniture in my living room , family room and bedrooms and their team work it out while changing the floor and repaint the rooms. When I found out that that I have a leak on my main water line and probably has been happening for years , Tony send his plumber to fix it immediately. Their HVAC guy is very helpful to rearrange my air ducts inlets and outflow ducts. Manex will also be doing my windows replacement in few weeks. All in all my family was satisfied with all the work they have done, to listen to my concern, and respond appropriately to my questions. I can choose all five qualities written on the question, professionalism, work quality, value, punctuality, and responsiveness. “We used Oak Hill to put a new addition over our garage. The work was completed on time and on budget. The quality is impeccable. They’ve been responsive to punch list and close out items. We are incredibly happy with the result and cannot recommend them highly enough. They gave us exactly what we wanted.

Every single representative that Oak Hill sent to our home, whether their employee or a subcontractor, was polite and professional. They worked clean and always picked up after themselves. We lived in our home through the renovation, and despite the upheaval that comes with that, Oak Hill made the whole experience as easy as I could possibly hope for. We’re happy with the result, but there are times I miss having them around. A very fun group to work with.“

“Metro Drainage Pros excavated eight clogged up downspout extensions and replaced them with 4” PVC pipe with clean outs and popup emitters. They removed and replaced part of our concrete walkway to insure proper pitch to the pipe that had to run underneath it. From our first contact to the completion of the job, the owner, Jim Monge, was responsive, easy to work with, and meticulous. The price was in line with the other estimates that we obtained. All the work was done neatly and carefully. Except for unavoidable weather interruptions, he began and completed the work as scheduled. He dealt with a few minor complications (a space problem with joining the extension to a downspout and extra- thick concrete) very professionally. We felt he delivered everything he promised and more. We would hire him again without reservation. This is a small business, and we feel we benefited from the owner’s full attention.“

“We reached out to United Water Restoration Group after discovering a leak in our basement, and found that our kitchen sink above had worn and caused a large amount of damage to multiple rooms in the house, and despite the awful situation our experience working with them has been absolutely wonderful.In the beginning we explained up front that we were a little nervous about this process, as we recently experienced a death in the family causing some financial issues and had an awful experience with our last contractor abandoning the project and producing very poor quality work.
