Escatawba Farms Fly Fishing offers a fantastic and enjoyable experience on a beautiful property. The setting is stunning and dreamlike, with a wonderful stream and stunning views that provide a calming and peaceful feeling. The fishery maintains a nice healthy population of rainbow, brown, tiger, and brook trout, and the fishing is consistently amazing, awesome, and great. Guests report catching several trout, including trophy fish, even at the end of the season. The operation is first class and finely sculpted, considered the very best fly fishing destination. The hosts are fantastic, great, and the nicest, most hospitable, and most accommodating people. Service is top notch, and guests always feel welcomed like an old friend, considering the hosts to be truly great people and friends. The overall experience is highly recommended, always a five-star day and a pleasure. It is a wonderful place that guests plan to return to regularly, drawn by both the excellent fishing and the exceptional people.

My wife and I have been coming to Escatawba Farms Fly Fishing since 2018. This is Virginia's premier Fly Fishing destination and rivals western trout streams IMO as I grew up in Oregon. As good as the fishing is the owner, Derrick Barr is a Top Notch host and just a pleasure to spend time with and get to know.
