Mondo has a team who is very professional, friendly and respectable. They do phenomenal work. Have used them for interior damage repair, exterior woodwork replacement and painting as well as general interior painting. And they leave no mess! They show up on time and are reasonably priced to boot!

Work was done from May through July 2023. Greg was willing to start and stop as I needed to coordinate with roof replacement by another contractor and his crew seamlessly did that. First, the crew replaced rake boards under the roof and boards under downspouts. They were the original wood pieces with the house and they had rot. Replaced with PVC and the crew painted them on sawhorses on the ground. This is just a sample of the extra effort applied for a first-class job. After the roofing contractor did his work, Mondo's crew replaced rotted wood on a peak window and trim boards around a palladian window, then all decorative facia boards, window frames, and other decorative pieces, and the garage door and frame and trim surround received two coats of paint. The crew also painted the headers above four windows and the aluminum flashing above the windows and at the base of the peak. Three paint colors were used.The larger part of the project dollar-wise was a major repair of my deck. Greg's brother Roger supervised this project and suggested encasing new pergola pressure-treated pieces with PVC boards, the existing ones replaced because of rot. A like-for-like replacement of pressure-treated boards would have me replacing them again in eight to ten years; encasing them means they will last much longer. Roger suggested a feasible approach to 6X6 main deck supports that had some loss at the interface with the ground level, including digging down several inches and applying wood hardener, after which I improved drainage.The job required skill and expertise and Greg, Roger, and their crews have it. We had two other small tasks that required one and three crew members, respectively, to return after the main projects and Greg made it happen according to our needs. Greg and Roger pride themselves on tackling tasks that require high skill levels. They did an excellent job and ensured my wife and I were happy with the work quality and paint color. I did not know the solutions to several tasks before we started but Greg and Roger knew cost-effective solutions and their crew members executed them with ease. I would use them again. Mondo gets work via word of mouth and mentions on Facebook, so do not look for ads by this company.

When I needed a bathroom gutted and a kitchen back splash removed, a friend recommended Mondo Improvements. I contacted Greg and he arranged for Roger to look at the job. He provided an estimate and got me on the schedule. I have never worked with a better company! They did an excellent job making sure the dust and debris was contained, thoroughly cleaned up, and finished the job earlier than they projected. Roger checked the work several times and made sure I was happy. I had horrible experiences with several contractors prior to calling Mondo. I was beginning to think NoVA did not have trustworthy, honest, professional contractors. I highly recommend Mondo Construction.
