“From the moment you walk in the door to Athletico, you are Dr Ryan Abshear’s primary concern. Each person’s PT session is specifically geared to their needs and goals that they are working toward. Whether they need to work on the physical aspect of their job or the intricate moves of their sport or any number of physical ailments, Ryan shows them how to get stronger then teaches them how to better perform their tasks so that they will not re-injure themselves. I highly recommend Athletico at Greenbrier in Chesapeake.“
“I started physical therapy for the first time a few months ago at Adler Therapy Group and from day one I was so impressed by their professionalism, knowledge, and outgoing spirit. I worked with Staci and she was absolutely fantastic! Everyone at the Chesapeake office is over the moon great. I work in customer service and honestly this team needs to be carbon copied, because they are awesome. EVERYONE at the Chesapeake office deserves a raise.“
“I love the fitness center, Erica Smith is awesome, she is kind, very knowledgeable and approachable. The atmosphere is pleasant when she is there!“
“Dr. Moss has helped more than just my back pain. I had chronic IBS that effected my daily life. Apparently the nerves in your spine can do more than just cause pain. I didn't really believe getting adjusted would help that at first but it actually did. I have far less IBS episodes now that I'm getting adjusted weekly. Dr. Moss really has changed my life for the better.“
“I go here as a patient and refer my patients here. Front desk \\u0026 therapists are all amazing \\u0026 very accommodating with my hectic schedule. Always look forward to my visits.“
“I am so grateful that I was referred to this therapy center by my surgeon and his staff!! I had total knee replacement surgery, July 5th, 2023 and June 28th, 2024 and I am getting excellent care and therapy sessions from the highly qualified staff at Sentara Therapy Center!! Here you will also have the opportunity to work with a different therapist each visit and I love this concept!!! I get to meet everyone, establish relationships, and make new friends. I truly look forward to my physical therapy sessions, because I know the staff will take good care of me...they're professional, knowledgeable, and kind hearted - and after 2 surgeries, they're like my extended family now......therefore I highly recommend Sentara Therapy Center for any service or treatment you may need.“
“The staff and therapist at In Motion were top notch! I would highly recommend them to my friends and family!“
“I was in a pretty rough car accident off Ferrel pkwy I woke up in an ambulance had a pretty mean concussion needless to say whiplash is not fun at all my upper back and right side of my neck were all out of whack sleep was not coming easy and work was difficult thank God!! I found Precision spinal care he said they were one of the best and boy was he right!!!!!!! They have a unique approach and they took the time to literally show me exactly the damage that was done and set a realistic plan on getting me back on track! The guidance and recommendations given were invaluable I don’t wish anyone to get into an accident or get hurt but if it happens please David Packer and his amazing staff at Precision spinal care can help for sure ! You guys were truly a blessing nothing short of amazing !“
“Devyn is great at what he does! I love stretchable, it has helped improve alot for me.“
“Melissa Cahoon 1 review I wish I could give it no stars. First the facility smells of urine and feces, why have carpeting in the rooms if you don't clean them. My father had waited long period for help. He would be left in a wheelchair with no undergarments and the gown barely on him. He didn't get the care he needed and they barely had enough food for his meals as they were continously out of product. I would ask them everyday to shave my father face so he could have a boost in self esteem, yet they couldn't be bothered. The 3 weeks he was there, I do not believe they took him to the bathroom once and a patient with Parkinsons, they are unable to feel certain things or pains. On the 18th he was sent to the ER for low blood pressure when in the end it was discovered his colon had ruptured and he ended up passing. Please do not allow your love ones to go there. RIP Marc Orlick“
“First I want to start off by saying this is a one of a kind physical therapy practice. They truly listen and care about getting you better. They look at you as a whole person/body vs just working on one spot. You also get a majority of your session time with the ACTUAL physical therapist which is so nice.
Here is my personal story…
When I first started having pelvic floor issues I had no idea what was going on and saw a lot of other doctors (gynecologist, urogynecologist, urologists, etc) to try and figure it out. After about 6-8 doctor appointments one of my doctors finally referred me to pelvic floor therapy but it was at another big name practice. I went there for an evaluation where they diagnosed me with hypertonic pelvic floor disfunction and after about 10+ sessions they discharged me even though there was still an issue I felt that I couldn’t quite figure out with the physical therapist there because she said everything felt/looked good. After I got discharged from there I started wondering what my issue was again and started doing my own research on pelvic floor therapy practices in my area and came across Restorative. I read a few reviews and decided to give this place a shot to see if I still had some pelvic floor related issues and I am SO glad I found them! I finally felt heard and understood and it was confirmed that I still had some deep muscle issues that needed to be worked on. I have now been to Restorative twice (with multiple sessions each time) regarding pelvic floor issues. I have mostly worked with Nav and she is amazing! (but I have seen Lisa and Ashley as well and they are also great!) I honestly can’t say enough great things about everyone here including Michelle at the front desk and Tun (the therapy dog that visits the practice a few times a week). Whether it’s pelvic floor issues or another type of physical therapy need I highly recommend you make an appointment at Restorative Physical Therapy!“
