Amazing family owned business. Communication is key and not having another so called mechanic cause your problems then bring it to.us as if we're at fault. So the review above this is untrue and typical with knowledge of automotive repair. People should really think before they post untrue reviews. Especially a vehicle we we're told not to rush on and now you want to talk about untrue events. Pick your car up and go.pay the triple price's somewhere else. Best repair shop in the Tidewater area. Robert Mawyer is the best mechanic in town. He used to work on my car 25 years ago in Northern Virginia and DC. His father was a master mechanic and it's in Robert's DNA. I am leary of mechanics hoping they won't rip me off because I know nothing about cars but Mr. Mawyer is like the Picasso of auto mechanics. I am now 58 and live in Phoenix, AZ but I would pay to fly him out her to fix my car anyday. Hands down. He probably does not even remember me but I had to post how talented he is. Competition should be careful. This guy is amazing! Don't go anywhere else Tidewater! Best wishes Robert and Linda! From an old friend......Kim
