Melissa Cahoon 1 review I wish I could give it no stars. First the facility smells of urine and feces,why have carpeting in the rooms if you don't clean them. My father had waited long period for help. He would be left in a wheelchair with no undergarments and the gown barely on him. He didn't get the care he needed and they barely had enough food for his meals as they were continously out of product. I would ask them everyday to shave my father face so he could have a boost in self esteem, yet they couldn't be bothered. I was unfortunate to be confined in this facility for over two weeks about two years ago and have to say it was the worst two weeks of my life. I've spoken with others who have had family members who were patients at this facility and they had the same horror stories. I would not advise admitting a loved one at this facility! I'm sorry now that I did not report the substandard and lack of needed care that I experienced during my stay to the state oversight boards who oversee patient care at these facilities!
Seemed very short handed, as far as helping the rehab patients. My family member that is there, is unable to do her daily needs on her own. Had I not been there to assist, I don't know how she would of been able to complete the tasks at hand. If you do not want to help others, then get another line of work. These rehab patients, need someone that cares and wants to help them get well again.
