After receiving bids from other well-recommended contractors, we chose Thompson for our project, which included the construction of a screened porch and adjacent concrete patio for a recently completed villa home in Crozet. After years of experience with residential contractors, we were attentive to various issues of importance: timeliness, quality, price, and customer relations. Thompson Construction was a wise choice for the following reasons. Admininistration was handled promptly, without unnecessary paperwork. Billing was prompt and accurate. The bid was competitive, and the quoted price was the final price, with the exception of a small change which was owner-initiated. The quality level was extremely satisfactory, and was achieved even when that required extra work hours by the crew. Jeff Thompson participated personally as needed, and his office and field staff were available to answer questions and provide guidance. The end result was a project which exceeded our expectations, and we endorse Thompson Construction as a reliable and ethical contractor.
