Every year a few fellow students and I willingly take a 6 hour straight drive down from NYC to train with the excellent students and teachers at the International Black Belt Center. Some of the most caring, skilled, and genuinely wonderful group of people you'll ever meet. I consider them part of my extended family through tae kwon do.

So many great reasons to take Taekwon-Do at IBBCV! Cindy, Theresa, and Susan are outstanding, patient, and knowledgeable instructors. Both my kids and I have practiced here for years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for martial arts in Charlottesville. Traditional Forms, Non-Contact, all female instructors - what else could you ask for?

I started my martial arts training in my mid fifties. Everyone at the IBBC made me feel welcomed and they were so patient as began to learn the forms. There was no pressure only encouragement. I highly recommend this facility.
