I have visited Health Plan several times since I moved to Charlottesville last year. I suffer from chronic migraines and these ladies have come to know just what I need when I walk in. They focus extra attention to my neck and head right where I need it. I have read some negative reviews about talking and asking for more time (extended massage) or tip money. I just chalk that all up to cultural and language differences and don't take any of that personally. If you want a good massage with no appointment, I guarantee you will walk out of this place feeling like a new person. I go to this place all the time and sometimes I'm not sure why. Mostly it's the convenience of being able to walk in with no appointment. They talk between rooms to the point that I threatened to never come back several times. One lady there was so aggressive that she didn't even speak, just said "How much time?" I have even disputed their charges on my credit card if the talked over me. Now....I need to say this: management changed in the last year, service is better, the ladies are more considerate and professional. If you have a problem they will correct it

A very good massage, but the lady could not speak any English and I agreed inadvertently (apparently) to an extra 30 minutes. Also, upon leaving, I gave a $15.00 tip on a $90 massage, only for her to argue with me about it. She complained a lot that my tip was insufficient (her English got a lot better at this point) and I couldn't believe it, I was hardly undertipping, just giving what I thought was fair. If I'm going to be harassed upon paying then I am no longer comfortable going back to this massage center.
