I had never worked with her before and was a bit anxious because I wanted a very different hairstyle than I've had before, PLUS I was working with a brand new (to me) stylist. Carrie was amazing! “I am so excited!!! I think Holly is a genius. She knew immediately what I wanted and needed. I have fine, thin, wavy hair and have been trying forever to force it into cuts that are sleek and just plain wrong for my hair type. She listened to what I wanted, which is to grow out my hair and stop coloring it, and she said "have you ever thought of embracing your wave/curls?" Honestly, no one has ever asked me that. I was absolutely thrilled with the cut and the curls that she showed me how to create. I have never been happier with my hair. “I didn’t meet Anne Marie as a customer, but as someone trying to drop off a wedding dress at the bridal shop across the street. I had made an appointment to get my dress steamed at the bridal shop the day before my wedding, but no one ever came to the shop or responded to my communication attempts. Late to my own rehearsal and a little desperate, I headed to Anne Marie’s to ask if I could leave my dress there for a few hours until I could return. They went so far above and beyond, I’m still touched by their kindness: they hung my dress on the wall so it wouldn’t wrinkle (I watched her literally hammer a nail further into the wall to support the weight of the dress), took my name and number, and called me with updates. The bridal shop employees never arrived, but I got another call from a salon employee to inform me that Anne Marie had even offered to steam my wedding dress herself (in the middle of her own work day!). We had our own steamer and plenty of time, so I couldn’t let her do that, but I was so touched by the offer. When we came to pick up the dress, the whole salon was invested in my day, asking for photos and complimenting the dress. What an absolutely amazing community!“
