He has done several different jobs for us such as painting our vaulted ceiling, taking out a door and replacing it with a window while removing moldy and damaged wood. He also fixed a gutter problem that the company Gutter Pros didn't or said they couldn't fix. His prices are very reasonable and he always gets the job done in good time. I like to think our project took place during an interesting time of transition and growth for Commonwealth Contractors as a company. Our time with them spanned roughly a year as opposed to the shortened timeline we had originally anticipated. Our project was not without its frustrations. We experienced a lot of turnover to Luke & David's core staff, missteps in filing permits, and also a myriad of changes to the subcontractors they used and entrusted. I do believe a lot of these difficulties stem from the aftermath of COVID and all the challenges it presented to the industry. I also believe a lot was due to Luke & David not only rerouting their ship, but reshaping their organization as a whole.

Does that sound like a five star review?
Well, actually, yes. It is.

Because despite these challenges and setbacks, I still can't give Luke and David anything less than five stars because our house is absolutely stunning. There is not a person that sees it who does not comment on how absolutely beautiful the transformation was. They took my vision and made it everything I wanted and more!

Not only was the final product amazing, but Luke and David are wonderful to work with. They were so patient and thorough in communication, and I was always greeted with a friendly face. They also remedied any mistakes without hesitation. For example, one of the subs they used had installed the stair stringers and I was unhappy with several parts of the installation. Instead of just fixing the immediate issues and working with what they had, they instead ripped it all out and built it again from scratch (and the result was perfect). Any time something looked off or done not to their specifications, it was quickly rectified no matter how costly or time consuming a fix would be.

Our project was completed over a year ago, but just a few months back David came by to check in and saw one of the gutters had an issue that caused part of it to peel outward. He quickly had his team come out and replace the entire section for us.

Frustrations and setbacks on a project of this size is to be expected no matter who you hire, but I truly believe Luke and David have built a company that will deliver nothing less than world-class results. We will love and enjoy every inch of this beautiful home for many years to come, and it would not have been possible without them.“

“I love the design of the kitchen. It is so functional. There is a place for everything which makes it so easy to keep everything tidy. Be sure to get the double silverware drawer organizer. I didn't think I needed it, but I love it and everyone who visits is in awe. I especially love ALL the drawers!  The large pantry cabinets framing the refrigerator is like having a beautiful piece of furniture in my kitchen, which is important since our kitchen, dining, and living room space are all one. I envisioned a large island and Jennifer designed it perfectly. We contracted with M3 for an extremely large residential project that included an enormous retaining wall, concrete pool decking, plumbing, electrical, property grading/seeding/straw, stairs, fencing, etc. From our regular weekly (and at times, daily) contact with Hunter, to our regular email communication (and in person meetings) with Shane, to our phone communication (and in person introduction) with Stephanie to their contractors and regular staff labor – there was not one single time or one single person that did not impress us. M3 was able to take the details conflicting in our architectural plans and work around/supplement/fix/create plans that would actually follow code, keeo my family/friends & property safe, and still honored the aesthetic beauty of the project that we had envisioned. They eased my fears and frustrations with the plans along the way and assured me that they could rectify and complete the project successfully. I always felt like they ‘worked for me’ and that they prioritized my thoughts, feelings, rants, needs and financial concerns in a way that will forever make us a customer of theirs for any of our future projects. And though they “worked for me”, please know that the relationship always felt way more personal than “just business.” We are truly grateful to them. You want your projects done by the best? Hire M3.“
