I could not thank Sensei Hollowell and the other instructors enough for their vast experience and tutelage. Because of them, I am able to be confident in my diet and fitness routines. I am absorbing a lot of knowledge in terms of self-defense. Going to Shoshin Ryu really makes a big difference in my life.
My son has been coming to this dojo for 1 1/2 years and has enjoyed the classes. The Senseis are knowledgeable and communicative with the kids. They are also kind but firm, encouraging the kids to be the best to their potential. I would recommend this dojo to any family looking to start in martial arts or to try a different form.
Looking for a martial art that corresponds more to my daughters' personalities I found this dojo on Google map and I'm glad I tried it.My two daughters started Shoshin Ryu Martial Arts 3 months ago and they just love it! They just can't wait to go to the next session. I think it has to do with the fact that Hollowell Sensei knows how to communicate with kids, inspire them and help them overcome their daily challenges. In addition to learning self defense, I can see that my daughters are more confident and more resilient at home and at school already. All this while having fun. I will definitely recommend this practice for kids and adults.
