If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The women here are wonderful and put so much care in altering my wedding dress, adding many details, and turning it into the dress of my dreams!
I had J Alterations do the alterations on my dress for my wedding in April. I had them hem the dress, add in additional pads for more security, add a bustle, and take in the waist a little bit. The dress was great, except that on the day of my wedding I did have the corset boning poke through ~4 hours into wearing the dress. I wore the dress through my reception and had bruises by the end of the night. I took the dress back to J's to have them examine it, and the boning poked through on the areas where they had not adjusted the waist (i.e., the boning where the waist was taken in was the only place it hadn't poked through!). I needed alterations for two dresses for the Kentucky Derby — and Baybee, they worked pure magic! Dress #1 was a fuchsia jeweled gown from Amazon that needed major resizing — not only did they make it fit perfectly, but they even made me a matching hat from the leftover fabric... and it was super cute! I wore it to Kentucky Oaks and got showered with compliments. ✨
Then they tailored Dress #2 — a red satin rose sheath — and Baybee... it fit like it was made just for me! Yes, they’re a little pricey, but trust me, the work is worth every penny. Highly recommend them if you want to look fabulous!...read full review
