I visited my uncle Hubert today. The facility is very nice, decorated for the holidays. My uncle was in a happy mood. He said he had a good breakfast and he slept well. I hope he can continue his rehab there.
I have been very impressed with the staff and care for my husband at Burke Rehabilitation Center. The facility has an excellent gym for rehabilitation, knowledgeable therapists , caring nurses and technicians, and friendly staff to greet visitors entering and exiting the facilities. Kudos to Burke Rehabilitation Facility.
My mother arrived Day 1 unable to move and sleeping much more than awake. Day 3 she was expertly taken to the toilet; her unexpected request. The aide was patient, kind and she made it! She was awake throughout our visit. Thank you, and the unnamed aide. Other aides and nurses are obviously overworked overwhelmed. Wonder what happens after 8 pm.
