WOW! That says it all, but I'll still provide some info.
I had a small project for some repair (mainly improvement) to an existing walkway and brickwork and had tried numerous contractors. Unfortunately, everyone wanted big-project prices for a small project, that is if they would even take on the job. Constant replies of "we only do large projects" made me very skeptical that I would be able to get this one done. Then, I found PT&L in the Gainesville/Haymarket Lifestyle magazine.
Gave them a call and was told sure, we can take a look. Hans came out and gave me some encouraging info and said yes, they could certainly do the work. A short time after that I received the estimate, and it was less than half of what the "others" wanted. I agreed and off we went.
Weather delayed the start, but once the crew got to work I was very impressed with their work ethic and overall willingness to go the extra mile. They never stopped working, didn't mess around with unnecessary things, and kept on the task at hand. When they were done, site cleanup was thorough, and they made sure to touch up any areas that needed it. The finished work looks great (we like it better than the original) very natural and definitely improved the overall look of our entry walkway.
In addition to the original work, when I let Hans know there was a small touch up needed on something he didn't hesitate for a second to say it would be taken care of. A couple days later (after the rains cleared) the crew came back out, did the touch up and even touched up a couple other spots that I didn't even notice. Nothing major, just effects of the materials curing over a couple days. Needless to say, the touch ups were done with the same quality and attention to detail as the original project. My compliments to Elmer (lead) Juan, and the other gentleman whose name I did not get. They were polite, friendly, focused and obviously interested in doing a good job.
My overall regret with choosing PT&L is that I have not used them sooner! I will make them my first choice in the future, recommend them to my neighbors and give them my highest recommendation to anyone that needs work done. Call these folks first...you won't regret it!
Attention to detail, professional, courteous, responsive, careful while entering/ exiting and working in the home and sets up and cleans up well. We appreciate that a quality check is done after the project is complete to assess and make any final adjustments, as needed.
