“From the moment Cooper and I walked in, there was just a “we love animals” vibe. It was just a different feeling than any other vet I’ve been to in the area. From the ladies at the front desk to the tech to the Vet. Cooper absolutely loved the tech and was crying for her when she left the room. The Vet was absolutely thorough and honest. This is a place that does NOT try to nickel and dime you. Quality care for a fair price.“

“We have had nothing but fantastic experiences at Betty Baugh’s. My girlfriend and I moved to RVA a few years ago with her now 13 year old cat, and we have been going there for all our vet needs. They are fantastic at working with you to ensure that you receive all the required care for your pet, while still working within your budget. It has been fantastic for a couple of college kids with an old cat. The entire staff also cares so much. Recently, when our kitty was having some stomach issues they managed to fit us in between appointments. Multiple members of their staff have messaged us to check in on our cat (not just the doctor, but even some of the front desk staff). We highly recommend Betty Baughs!“

“My dog Tres was urinating in the house. Even though I could not get an appointment for him for 3 days, they asked me to bring in a urine sample. Tres had a UTI and I was able to pick up antibiotics for him that day so we could work on stopping him urinating in the house the same day.
Tres had his appointment on Monday and they gave him medicine for a skin condition. The staff are always helpful and compassionate. I have been a customer of their's for more than 20 years.“

“My huskie mix Chewie had really bad matting in his coat and desperately needed extensive grooming. The groomer Debbie did an amazing job with him. Chewie can be very reactive, especially when his coat gets tangled and grooming can be painful for him. Debbie was confident and caring with him. I’ve been taking Chewie here for a long time, but I was so grateful for this recent grooming I had to write a good review. Chewie looks and smells so much better now!!“
