Had an amazing experience at my head spa appointment! I've been to other spa/ treatments in Asia and this one is on par with them including the price. Everyone was friendly and you can tell they work hard and care about the quality of the service. My scalp felt clean and my body felt relaxed and less tense. I would totally recommend this place to friends and will likely be a regular here. If this spot was closer to a metro station/more metro accessible, I could imagine it to be even more popular.
Had a great, relaxing experience when I got the 60 min head spa session. My hair and scalp have never felt better!! JFYI, the blow dry at the end is not a blow out, so if you have curly hair, prepare! Can't wait to visit again, highly recommend!
I agree with all the reviews that say this place is just eeehhh.... It's good but not great and def you get what you pay for...I'll start with the bad and end with the good.. The bad: -I had questions over the sanitation after being there. The steam machine for your face was gross looking- you can see the water and filter and it was very brown and gross looking. -not really sure about brushes being sanitized between heads-round scrub brush was just in the basin that they wash your hair in. However at the end when they blow dry your hair, the combs and brushes come from a sanitation machine. -I didn't see any certifications for the work being done there; like when you go to a nail salon, a hair salon, or a massage parlor and the certs from the workers or company are on the wall publicly for everyone to see -the pre-showing of my scalp and post showing of my scalp, the wand didn't seem to be cleaned between the person before me and person after me but my scalp was on point -the products that they use on you vs how they advertise is questionable. The hair stuff is not labeled at all (I looked at all the stuff on the cart prior to leaving the room). They show bottles of some kind of ginger stuff that they sell but in the room it's big salon bottles of stuff with no label. The facial was performed with Neutrogena grapefruit scrub and micellar water another woomp woomp moment. The good: I was seen promptly for my appointment and my hair spa lady did a great job. I tipped her well and I paid in cash. I by no means have anything negative to say about the workers. The front desk girl was very nice and inviting. The verdict: This place has so much more potential... it seems and feels like a budget head spa. I fully recognize that some of my bad highlights could have been addressed if I would have asked the questions while I was there. I am not saying it was unsanitary just that it felt a little icky for the above reasons. I wouldn't go back but I would tell friends to give it a try bc I can sometimes be more picky than others.
