Good for non-complicated fixes, if he says « can’t be done »… it usually can, just go to a specialized cobbler … there were many things that i fixed after i got a « cant be fixed » answer. Pete's Cobbler's Bench Shoe Repair in DC fir example (there may be others) although expensive , got the complex work done beautifully! Useful when you have luxury expensive items.

Great quality, prices and service. I've taken two pairs of shoes here for polishing and just dropped off a pair to be stretched. The owner is friendly and the turnaround time is reasonable. Street (paid) parking.

Highly recommend. The owner is a miracle worker. I wish I would have taken a before picture of my boots - the backs of the wooden heals were chipped & the cap came off; now they are as good as new. The business is in the bottom of an apartment building that has 30 min. parking, so it's convenient to drop off & pick up.
