In a metro area rich with martial arts dojo, this is in the top tier. Teacher has multiple decades of experience, and the advanced ranks in the school warmly welcome beginners, who get direct personalized instruction. It can be daunting to start a martial art when you are an adult without any previous experience but I lucked out in finding this crew. Everyone has been kind and patient as they guide me through the different techniques. If you are interested in starting something new or continuing on in your Aikido journey, I could not recommend this place enough. It is a truly wonderful community!

Started training here in Jan 2014. Very low key dojo, with excellent instructor (5th degree black belt) and good number of advanced students. I think the blackbelts outnumber the beginners, which is a huge advantage whether you're new or experienced. Classes tend to be small, so you get lots of individual instruction. Five classes/week and a great price at around $55/65 per month depending on your level. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Traditional Iwama-style. Highly recommend!
