Very friendly and informative barber. Experienced haircut at a reasonable price. Knows military haircuts well. My recommendation for anyone at Fort Belvoir.
Hair type: Fine silky hair
Been going to Johnny Mac's nextdoor for ice cream for 20 years, but never noticed this barber shop. My usual barber upped their prices and hired a creepy guy who likes to rub hair A LOT, so I figured I'd give this joint a try. According to another customer, they've been operating since 1961. Four chairs, but only the one barber, a nice older lady. They specialize in military cuts, which makes sense since Ft. Belvoir has been here forever. I never do anything fancy, just a basic crew cut. She said I'd look better with a flattop, which I've never had, but it turned out great! She also trimmed my beard for free and the whole deal was $20 (I'm usually paying $25-30).
