I have had a membership exclusive to this gym for 7 weeks now. This past Sunday on 02/26/23 I showed up at this gym at 08:45 AM to find the doors lock, dark inside and closed. There was no note in the door or anything indicating what was going on. This gym is supposed to open at 7:00 AM. I saw another customer waiting out side in their car and they told me it was not the first time they had experienced this there. I am very disappointed because I got ready and drove 8 miles to workout and could not even get inside the door. This is very unprofessional and not fair to people like me who bought a membership only to this gym so we cannot simply just go to another location. In my opinion this is bad management and the members of this gym deserve better reliability then this. We pay for this service and I am very disappointed. I will also be contacting the corporate office about this.
The cleanliness and quick repair of equipment; friendliness and professionalism of the staff; the Very competitive pricing; and the perks (Awesome and useful ones!)! SOOOO MUCH better than LA Fitness!!!! The manager at a LA Fitness once told me I might not be their type of client when I dared to ask him when the THREE toilets in the women’s restroom would be fixed (after almost two weeks down!). Lee Rec Center has a lot to offer, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired- making Planet Fitness again tops! I also like how PF is in So Many locations! I went to one in Springfield, Missouri, and was treated just the same as if I were at my home gym! Perfectly lovely!
