Wanted to write because we had a great experience. The folks who worked with us, Julian, Charlie and their helpers did a great job with workmanship and communication. We contracted through Home Depot.We especially appreciated Charlie and Julian's guidance when re-doing the master bath because being an older house, there were water issues we didn't see that he did and was able to fix and avoid in the future with the new construction. Also appreciated that when problems did arise, they were addressed literally within minutes via text or phone call and then a solution. We will be calling them again when our next project comes up.

For a Bathtub Removal/InstallationBathtub contractor bait and switch or Incompetent Home Depot department?The contractor Alward Co, aka ConstruXure of Alexandria, VA., was scheduled through Home Depot to complete a removal and installation of a bathtub.After arriving and surveying the work area, the contractor representative asked me to sign a change order for over a thousand dollars to have the tile removed and installed, saying this work wasn’t explicitly stated in the contract.That’s over a thousand dollars extra to remove and install the bottom row of tile, and 3x3 foot section of tile on the side wall for a regular-sized bathtub.She asked for my credit card and...read full review
