“I’ve waited two weeks to post this review because I was too in awe of my dog’s progress with The Canine Mind. I enrolled my 1-year-old hound mix, Raina, in the two-week board and train program. And I’m telling you that this team is literally a group of doggie cognitive psychologists — and this is coming from a human cognitive psychologist. In two weeks, my dog received a level of training that I probably couldn’t have achieved in my lifetime (let alone two weeks). She is excellent off leash now, generally more responsive, and better at overall manners (no longer jumping on visitors in my house, for example). If I were to chat with younger me, I would have totally enrolled my first dog in this type of program. This foundation is essential for having a good quality of life with your dog. It still takes a lot of learning + work on the human side, but I’d say this program was absolutely worth every dollar. My dog is better in every aspect of behavior, despite maintaining the fundamental personality traits that make her who she is. THANK YOU!“

“We have two small dogs with lots of energy, fear of larger dogs and people, and barkiness! The trainers at Dog Training Elite were so knowledgeable about how to approach their individual issues. After two weeks of training, we were amazed at the transformation. Our pups are much more confident, obedient, and willing to learn new skills. They are still young and have more to learn, so we are grateful for the continuing group classes and in home sessions. They were very professional and provided everything they said they would for us and our Yorkie puppy. We chose to do the live in two week puppy program with trainer, Jason.
He was fantastic and was so informative and helpful with our questions. At our meetings he never made us feel rushed and we learned a lot from him. This training not only showed great results with our puppy but cleared up much confusion for us about potty training and crate training, eating schedules and other things that as owners we should know. We feel like we can continue the great training at home that Jason planned out for us. Our puppy also came home knowing a few one word commands. He was only 4 months old!! It’s been very rewarding and we would highly recommend their training. We look forward to another program for our puppy in the future.“

“I'm one of those weirdos who treats my dogs like family-they sleep on the bed, climb all over everything in the house and eat very well. So when I travel or work long days and need someone to look after the pups, I'm very particular about where they go. A friend referred me to Camp Bow Wow and I've used them several times. So far, my dog hasn't said anything good or bad about her experience, but she seems happy enough to go inside with a staff member. While I appreciate the service they provide, it is a bit pricey, so I have to be selective about when I bring my dog here. I'd love to be able to bring her more often, but I have to ration our visits until I hit the jackpot.“

“Good service so far. I visited them for dental service and a fecal test for my dog. I felt the dental service was cheaper compared to other vets and they did a great job.
They also have free dental brushing per week, once we do deep cleaning. All staffs are very friendly and my dog loves to visit this place.“

“I’ve taken my dog to Brickyard Kennel twice in the past few months. This is one of the few places in SLC that could accommodate to reactive dogs like mine and she was able to get alone time with the staff. I received some videos of her playing which made me feel much more at ease & I know she had a good time because she’d be smiling ear to ear when I’d pick her up! I also noticed they clipped her nails (which are close to impossible for me to clip on my own) so thank you so much for that! I appreciate you guys caring for my sweet girl. I would definitely recommend, especially for the affordable price and accommodation to reactive pups“
