Before moving to Park City my ophthalmologist told me I needed cataract surgery. He referred me to Dr. Smith in Park City. My experience was top notch and I highly recommend him. The office staff was great at scheduling, filing insurance paperwork , and calling in prescriptions. My actual surgery took place at The Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City and I was very happy with the care and skill of the staff there. The surgery for my second eye had a complication (explained to me post-surgery) that Dr. Smith dealt with and it did not affect the successful outcome of my surgery. Dr. Chris Smith discovered a serious eye condition that could have led to blindness. With his detection and treatment the condition has abated and I have no vision problems. I will be forever grateful. I did require cataract surgery and everything went off smoothly. His staff is kind, courteous, efficient and extremely attentive. Could not ask for better care.
Dr. Smith is a very caring practitioner. I had a few symptoms that potentially could cause blindness or a stroke and Dr. Smith took immediate appropriate steps to diagnose or rule out the problem. I appreciated his concern contacting me after hours and his thorough follow up care.
